I’m not so concerned about people saying, “I’m leaving the country.”

If someone’s language is offensive and shocking, then you must cite the exact language when you criticize them. To say “Oh he said the n-word” or “Oh he called her a c-word” dilutes the power of the criticism and gives people an opportunity to turn their heads and not listen. That’s what happens when we sanitize

Oprah is a shameless opportunist and it is about time she was called out for it. She preys on society’s most vulnerable members and feeds them consumerist pablum as way to ‘fix’ their problems.

Thank you! In the other post, I ranted about why I’ve had enough of the entitled white male schtick. Just shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up. This is not your election. This is mine.

The strangest and most unexpected thing happened to me tonight. Rather, something moved me and elevated my emotions beyond immediate understanding. First things first, as I promised, I got drunk. but that’s never had much of an effect on me as regards to unlocking previous, mysterious, and largely concealed emotions.

If nothing else, this election has destroyed the myth that 3rd party candidates are somehow better than the mainstream ones.

I’m lucky enough to live in NY, and despite the abject terror that comes with today, I got weepy eyes voting for Hillz.

Yep. The “my vote doesn’t matter” crowd needs to STFU as long as people of color are being greeted with this shit at polling places.*

I hope the ghost of Susan B Anthony makes Susan Sarandon shit her pants tonight.

Srsly. Parading around in expensive clothes, hair & makeup, keeping in shape, getting “procedures”? All what she signed up for. Giving a speech in not-her-native-language in front of hundreds of millions of viewers? Said speech making her the laughingstock of the country (and a lot of the world)? NOT part of the job

He said that he supports Trump because he likes his positions on illegal immigration and political correctness.

Two of my friends also have PS 59 as their polling place and one of them was in the crowd booing as she waited in line. SO PROUD!

I am SO TIRED of bigots trying to pull the disrespect or bullying card when people call them out on their shit. When your opinion is predicated on discriminating other people, IT’S NOT BULLYING WHEN SOMEONE CALLS YOU OUT ON IT.

“Different viewpoints need to be respected,” he continued, before explaining that the Republican presidential candidate’s positions have been misinterpreted. “When Trump says he wants to ban Muslims, he doesn’t really mean that. That’s never going to happen. What he really means is he wants extreme vetting.”

I voted early, which also allowed me to let my daughter actually mark the ballot for my vote for Hillary.

OMG, you’re a tiny baby! My first vote was for Bob Dole, 1996. I know.

You are lucky! Except for the being sick part. So I guess it all averages out?

Ha, maybe!
