I would like to see one checked bag be included in the price of the ticket. Not everyone is going to check a bag so I think they could get by adding a few bucks to a ticket. Enough people will check a bag so there will be plenty of overhead bin space. Boarding would be faster too.

I’ve heard that some of the automated systems will connect to a person if people swear at them out of frustration. I’ve wondered if the person answering the phone gets a transcript on their screen of what was said to get the call to get the automated system to transfer the call .

I prefer Cherry Coke Zero. I agree that the Pepsi Max with Cherry in the UK is probably the best. Unfortunately it’s not sold in the US as far as I know.

I was there for work in early June a few years ago. The locals told me it was the best time to be there. They said the mosquitoes weren’t around yet. It was in the low 60's and the sun didn’t seem to set until 10 pm, so it seemed pretty nice.

That is strange to see, considering touching the ref in any sport here almost always results in an ejection. Although in one of the bowl games this season, the Miami coach grabbed one of the officials but didn’t get ejected. That was after he had already drawn a penalty for saying something to the official.

One nice thing I noticed about the Louvre is that it seemed like the major pieces (Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, etc.) were fairly close together. If someone wanted to see the highlights, they could do it fairly quickly.

I can see Disney getting away with this because they offer something unique. Unless all of the hotel chains do it, I don’t see this spreading. If Marriott does it and no one else follows, people will avoid Marriott. If they all start doing this, then it will be hard to avoid.

One half of my family is of Norwegian descent and they used to serve up lutefisk at Christmas. Thankfully that tradition stopped but somehow Christmas dinner became oyster stew and frozen pizzas. It was funny seeing the confused and horrified looks on my then girlfriend/now wife’s face when I told her about Christmas

I did the Dark Side Broodal fight yesterday. I was deading it going in because I suck at the game. Lately my 5 year old wants to play the two player mode as Cappy. Having him play Cappy made the fights so much easier. He would take care of hats, purple goo, etc. and I could focus on not getting hit.

My wife had surgery last year and the doctor’s name was Salvatore with an equally Italian last name. He was always late and always had to deal with emergencies. I joked with my wife that he obviously was a doctor for the mob. He was late in the morning because he was called in at 2 am to deal with a bullet wound.

I’ve heard like others that you need at least $1 on the card for this to work. I’ve started converting the remaining balance to an Amazon gift card. That way I know the card is used entirely.

Bixby had a button people could press for help, but people kept inadvertently pressing it. Because of the annoyances, they disabled it.

I had PIAA Super Silicone wipers several years ago for my Subaru Legacy GT. They basically leave a layer of rain-x on the windshield when used. The water beads up and rolls off, so the wipers aren’t needed in light rain. Unfortunately they don’t make them for every vehicle or I would have put them on my last two cars.

I heard it was because of local advertising on the stations. The Sunday Ticket feeds don’t show the local advertising on the locally available games so they are blacked out. It’s definitely something that should go away in these days.

My Dad’s side of the family is of Norwegian descent so they used to have Norwegian dishes. We used to have lutefisk, lefse, and oyster stew. Eventually it somehow became oyster stew and frozen pizza so the grandkids like myself would eat something. It was fun seeing the look on my now current wife’s face explaining

That’s as good as this graphic from 2012.

Dead people rotting in front of their TV’s and people who can’t find their remotes are the keys to ratings success at CBS. Every show they have can’t be “TV’s #1 show” in whatever category they are in.

I would say it’s my son but he only watched it every day for about a month. Then he moved on to something else to watch every day.

I had a Delta flight on a CRJ-200 last year that was delayed because the light in the lavatory didn’t work. It was 80 minute flight from Atlanta. They ended up getting a new plane, which I guess is a little easier in a hub like Atlanta.

Will John Fox be able to pass Marc Trestman’s win total as Bears HC? He’s still one win behind Trestman and Fox has had almost an entire extra season at this point. They still get to play the Browns but that doesn’t seem like a sure thing at this point.
