I’m hoping it will be something like this:
In Illinois it is illegal to park a non-EV in an EV space. It’s a $75 ticket, but I don’t think it’s enforced that often. I imagine some other states have similar laws.
I’m not sure about North Carolina but some states have laws against parking non-EVs in an EV parking space. In Illinois it is a $75 ticket, although I’m not sure how often it is enforced.
Can they shame insulin manufacturers next? The price has skyrocketed the past decade or so and many of the formulations have been around longer than that.
I picked up an 09 GT in August of 09 for $25k and I think the sticker was around $32k. The dealer had a few on the lot and seemed to be wanting them gone. It held it’s value well too and I traded in 4.5 years later for over $15k.
Bubbler is a Wisconsin term for a drinking fountain. Another fun Wisconsin one was the TYME Machine. A lot of the ATM’s in Wisconsin had that branding on them in the 80's and 90's.
Speaking of gravy, I was at Costco last weekend and in the refrigerated section, they had two quarts of turkey gravy for 97 cents. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it but I couldn’t turn that down at that price.
Since the Packers-Seahawks game is in Seattle, I assume something wacky will happen at the end and the Seahawks will win.
With sharpness of cheddar cheese, I don’t trust anything that doesn’t have the number of years it has been aged listed. I usually go for the 3-5 year aged ones. It’s strong but not overpowering and reasonably priced. It’s still able to be sliced too. The 8 & 10 year aged ones tend to crumble, are expensive, and too…
I have a love/hate relationship with machines like this. It’s great to be able to easily customize an order or substitute something that I wouldn’t think of. On the other hand, it’s really annoying when you get behind someone who goes through and contemplates every option and then orders the standard item.
I liked Indy because it was a great place to see a lot of the track, move around easily and see the cars in different areas of the track, and the tickets were cheap by F1 standards. After F1 left Indy, I went to Montreal and the experience there blew Indy away. It seemed like the entire city went all out for the race.
It’s a tough spot for Rodgers. Every time he shows his greatness with an improbable win, it also means that McCarthy will be around longer.
I wasn’t upset about losing the two minute warning because 2 minutes probably feels like an eternity to Rodgers when he only needs a field goal. Returning the kick most likely results in not getting back to the 25 and possibly starting around the 10 with a block in the back/holding penalty.
I still have family in La Crosse. It’s crazy how cheap it is to drink there. I’ll always load up at Woodman’s before I leave.
The Costco food court has gone downhill lately. A lot of people were upset when they got rid of the polish sausage but my Costco used to have a bratwurst combo for $1.50 too. That was a sad day when they got rid of it. They also got rid of the chocolate frozen yogurt, which is annoying because my son loved it.
The ones that confuse me on the interstate are the drivers that come up behind me quickly in the right lane and tailgate me for several miles. The left lane will be clear but they will stay behind me.
If someone is the sole winner of tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot, would that be enough money to be considered “eccentric” instead of “crazy”?
Is the jackpot high enough that I would be considered “eccentric” rather than just crazy?
I was going to use my points to get a free pizza along with some other pizzas and their site wouldn’t let me combine the free pizza with points with other offers. It made no sense since it’s a rewards program. I figured I would just create two orders, one paid and one points. I found out their website locks out the…
Even when they aren’t good enough to make the playoffs, the rest of the division collapses and they still make it. I remember the first time Rodgers broke his collarbone. The Lions had to win something like 1 of their last 6 games to clinch the division and failed. The Bears should have won the division but they…
