I worked in restaurants all throughout my 20's. Sexual harassment is a part of the job, so much so that, as both CA Pinkham and the woman in this story say, you just grow accustomed to it being a part of the job, ESPECIALLY from the kitchen staff. I have this strange feeling even typing this, that just acknowledging

You don't already? Lucky.

POORLY it is all so stressful. and there are more rumors than i can keep up with and they're all over the news and i am like, one more news break from making my own LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE video for 1d.

You hit someone, you're fired. I wish more people understood that. If I deck someone at my office, I expect to be 1.) arrested, and 2.) fired.

A walk-in 40... I'm crying. I'm crying for the server. I'm crying for the host and bussers who had to put that table together. How does a group of 40 people not have a single person in it that says MAYBE THIS IS A BAD IDEA AND MAYBE THIS IS RUDE.

It will cause them to scream, and maybe even react violently at you, which is fully deserved. Cancer patients are on so much medication and receiving so

This can't be happening.

Before reading this series, my tipping policy was $20/$5 minimum per bill - $5 minimum if the bill was under $20, 20% minimum if the bill was over $20.

Now I've started making it $10 minimum/30%. I think I need to stop this before I'm paying more than I can afford.

*sips skinny whole-milk nonalcoholic Irish macchiato* from their monogrammed thermos

and I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever about the fact that I will probably not see my 60th birthday.
