Bitch, please. Even if we all dressed in Victorian-style high-necked long dresses like these, assholes like Arndt and MRAs would be complaining about the brazen hussies who harass poor innocent men by showing a sliver of ankle or a centimeter of collarbone.

I agree with you completely. But the cynic in me thinks the editors got the pageviews they wanted, so they probably don't much care about the outrage.

I agree with this completely.

Unfortunately, breed standards often come at the expense of the dog's health- what is seen as the "best example" may come with serious, painful problems. For example (according to the BBC doc I linked below) the "ridge" in Rhodesian ridgebacks is associated with a serious health problem in a significant number of

I love dogs, but I think shows like Westminster and all the breeders who focus on form rather than function are doing a huge disservice to both dogs and owners. The BBC made this documentary about some of the problems associated with purebred dogs, I recommend it (though warning, it's really sad in parts).

There's a tumblr called (I think) sex is not the enemy that's pretty cool. It's more sex-positive than traditional-porny but I recall it still being fairly x-rated.

Hey, I think it's totally valid for Titania to ask about how asymmetries in class and white privilege might play into street harassment. I didn't read it as her bragging about her wealth.

Also, think about this quote:

1. Anecdotally, catcalling seems to have nothing to do with how I'm dressed. The worst incident I can remember I was wearing a gigantic men's coat, jeans, and winter boots.

Some dude did that to me last night when I was jogging by myself down a dark street. Asshole.
