Children stuck in a house with Jared Leto and Tiffany Haddish does sound terrifying.

If you’re a top ranking member of a self declared religious organization, people will talk to you about it. If you call the Archbishop of Canterburry a friend, but can’t talk to him about Anglican Church, you may not actually fall into the definition of “friend”.

I bet whichever Netflix exec red stamped this is kicking himself for axing a show that was both quite popular and unaffected by the Writer’s Guild of America strike. They could have rushed this into production, and it would have been the only thing on the air in 8 months time.

No wait... that would require both

For something clearly aimed at angsty teen audiences, this was surprisingly good. I didn’t realize Joe ‘Attack the Block’ Cornish and Edgar Wright were involved, but that... actually explains a lot.

I hope in a few years, all of these actors get cast in Doctor Who (the guy who played Lockwood is basically David Tenant

Well, fuck, I really loved that show. I was hopeful for a Season 2, since it had great reviews accross the board and did decent viewership numbers. That's usually sign of a show with growth potential. But I guess Netflix doesn't do growth.

This is a real shame, I enjoyed Lockwood & Co and was hoping for more - should’ve known better after Netflix did the same to The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself, a thoroughly enjoyable adaptation of Half Bad by Sally Green.

Netflix has a real problem when a lot of the time I learn that a show *exists* when I read the article about it being *cancelled*.

We all know better by now, but I gotta admit, this one hurts. I liked the small changes they made from the books and hoped to continue to enjoy them in a second season.

Damn, I just finished binge-watching this series a few days ago and I really liked it.

Man, if all that Coby says is true, what a bitchy little prima donna. Reminds me of a girl I knew in high school who fucked around on her college essay and went out drinking the night before the SATs and then bitched because she didn’t get into Yale. It was Yale’s fault then too, for not recognizing her inherent

Leana Wen pulled similar shit at the PPA headquarters, but the Washington Post gave her a platform to spew her verbal diarrhea. I'm shocked at the amnesia over that two-faced weasel.

Look around at the other comments. I don’t think it’s any secret that George has WONDERFUL ideas that have enchanted millions of us, but he needs someone to control that output and weed out the S*****Y ideas.

It blows my mind that the monarchy is still a thing with broad support from people who also claim to value democracy…but if you’re gonna monarch, just monarch. Lean into it.

Are we at the point where Society is beginning to wonder if Star Wars succeeded despite George Lucas rather than because of him? So many stories have come out in the intervening years of how other, more talented people have a much greater responsibility for how these films turned out than the man supposedly in charge,

Charles said no tiaras. Although that looks close enough to it.

Last Week’s Addition: A 100-year-long Fuck You to the Republicans, who once again blocked the advancement of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Adams is Republican-lite, and a hardliner for supporting law enforcement in all instances. He’s the black version of the Tom Selleck character in Blue Bloods at this point.

It always felt like with ‘Return’ and the prequels that it was Lucas unfettered with no one telling him no or even, “You sure about that, George?” and this was absolutely to the detriment of the product on screen. On ‘Star Wars’; everyone was telling him no, from the Studio on down. But it still got made and it was

Return of the Jedi was closer in quality to the holiday special than to The Empire Strikes Back. There, I said it.
