I’m not surprised when you look at how long the shows run. I mean I was in high school when I started watching brand new show Supernatural, but then it ran for 15 seasons. Add to that the cord cutting of younger generations and it tracks.

I mean, was the CW ever profitable? Even while running Supernatural and the whole Arrowverse, it felt like a whole tier down from regular broadcast networks like NBC or ABC. I love how the CFO is like “did you know that other TV companies actually make money off their shows? It’s true!”
