I have watched a few of these already, last Christmas, and I will probably watch some of them again (while wrapping gifts). I have a couple of recommendations that are not on your list, Feast of the Seven Fishes, and, though not a movie, Dash & Lily.

I don’t understand why, after the success of the accurate recreations, they would do these featuring completely age inappropriate actors . If they go this route, they would have MUCH better success doing the all drag queen version of The Facts of Life.

It isn’t a table read, it is a full on, live in front of a studio audience, complete recreation of sets and costumes...It may even be broadcast fully live. I did watch the All In The Family and The Jeffersons episodes... it was fun.

Thank you, for the weekly recaps! It is lovely to watch such an up lifting show each week, as well as read your recaps, and the comments from other fans of the feel good reality show. I enjoy the show so much, and one gets invested in the new group each year, that it is also a bit sad to see the end of their time…

That is something I want to try, my aunt has done it a few times, and it does look like real hair.

I have not, but only because my mother had it done, and they turned green over time. Then she had it redone a couple of additional times, but they never looked real, rather as if they were make up albeit semi-permanent makeup.

Actually seeing how far back the eyes are set into the flesh of the current Sontarans heads, it’s like having blinders on.

WOW! I have exactly the opposite reaction. It is weirdly, a reversion back to some of the worst makeups for the Sontarans. They did that a couple of times on the Kelvin Universe Star Treks, and maybe on Disco too, so I groaned when the did this on Foundation this week.

Having Dune come out while the Foundation series is running finally made me come to the realization that the two sagas are mirror opposites. While both universes are controlled by an emperor or empire, and span thousands of years.

I am having lower expectations with every name they throw into this movie... Like that, “look over here at this familiar face!”, so you pay less attention to the quality of the story, kinda feeling.

This is one of the rare times I hope for a movie series or a new series. They come pretty quickly now, so maybe in ten years, some competent non-Abrams related producer will make a good adaptation.
