True... I don't know any serious runners that run in nikes. I alternate between saucony and mizuno, myself, and would be unlikely to seriously consider nikes. I need to try to squeeze 200+ miles from them.

You have a stronger stomach than I if you can cut someone sufficiently to stop an attack. That is up close and personal, and requires some serious determination.

This is my thought, too. I’m not sure how I would ever sleep well again if I ran away with my gun on my hip and left my coworkers- or fellow shopper or whomever- to die. I would feel like some of those deaths were on me.
