I honestly believe I have PTSD from the two road trips to CA from FL and back I was forced to take as a kid. A dad who fought with everyone, a sociopathic cousin, a passive aggressive-OCD grandmother, a die-away great aunt, a sister that had to pee every 10 miles, and a miserable mother all trapped in a van for 6000

Mary Stewart. She’s well known for her Arthurian series but I really love her mysteries. This Rough Magic, Moonspinners, Madam Will You Talk. Very retro mystery/Gothic novels.

Wow. Nowhere did I say to exactly copy anything. But this whole article is about finding something similar. That dress is an exaggerated/oversized baby doll dress. Thus a very simple pattern. So a dress could be made in a similar vein quite easily, as a baby doll dress pattern is not propritary.

Always walk into the wind. Even if it’s in the opposite direction you need.

Or maybe find a local seamstress. And support a skilled craftsman rather than a fast fashion factory. That dress is not difficult pattern wise. The difficulty lies in the actual sewing process. Chiffon and tulle are so light weight that they just go all over the place. But a good seamstress can do it for much cheaper

Most stores have a thing called the six foot rule. If a customer passes within six feet, the clerk must greet you and offer assistance. Complain to the manager and write the head office. But I doubt it’ll ever stop. Because then Karen will want to complain to the manager that the employees are so rude and ignored her.

Really, no they’re not. They’re forced to greet everyone or be written up/fired. And God forbid they don’t greet a secret shopper ‘cause that brings down a curse on them and their houses.

I’ve made that pattern! Mine turned out pretty great. Love the plaid. I’ve never thought to use a print for the lining, but I’m so stealing the idea for next time I make something.

Hate hugging my American friends and family. For me it comes down to being so short that my face is smooshed into someone’s armpit or I’m accidentally motorboating someone’s cleavage.

It’s so fucking hot. Plus 100° Temps and at least 90% humidity. It can just make you mean and crazy. The littlest thing can make people snap.

Yup

Ivanka

It gives me flashbacks to those vests all the moms wore in the 80's.

I have a theory on this topic. If I remember correctly, should a sitting president leave or be removed from office before serving 2 years, then the VP finishes the current term and may run for and serve one additional term. But if the president serves more than 2 years before leaving then the VP finishes the current

Jennifer Cruise. Welcome to Temptaton and it’s sequel Faking It are a great duo. Also Bet Me and Fast Women are great. She’said very funny and has non-traditional heroines. (Plus sized, a bit older, a bit crooked) They also have full lives outside of the romance.

Those same people read Nicholas Sparks. And say that’s not romance ‘cause it’s shelved in the fiction section instead of the romance section. No, he’s shelved there ‘cause he has a dick and his publisher paid extra to the stores to recategorize him.

I’ve always loved romance novels. My mom and her mom started me out when I was 10 with Georgette Heyer’s These Old Shades. It and she are still my favorites to this day.

Her eyes make me want to call the Winchester brothers.

If they have similar lines it’s pretty easy. There’ll be a bit of adjusting here or there but not much.

How about this?
