This is like saying “Mom and I have the same purse”, because you bought the same thing, just like those cheeks.

If the Anoka-Hennepin School District sounds familiar, it was also the site of something like nine students dying of suicide after anti-gay bullying between 2009 and 2011. The district also had a policy on the books that was interpreted as a ban on talking to students about LGBT issues, even if a student was

This is happening all over the internet, in every forum, everywhere. A lot of them are bots. Many are just regular assholes. But as the country gets more and more on fire, people from different backgrounds have started trying to converse and set differences aside, and the bots, trolls, farms, what-have-you, are

Their main objection? It put barriers between men convicted of domestic violence and their ability to buy a gun.

“Well, it would take a psychiatrist to answer that question fully, though it seems obvious that deep loathing of some kind plays a role. It must play a role.”

I’m no psychologist but maybe people shooting other people is bad and we should possibly think about limiting the devices that people use to shoot each other?

my thoughts exactly.  Hitting people in their wallets is a good way to change behavior (but not foolproof), but then kids like Nick who just want to be left alone to do their thing are forced to appear in court and get torn apart by some dickhead defense lawyer.

Why does Barack Obama do this?

It would obviously be better if the district hadn’t behaved so terribly towards him, but I hope the settlement helps. I also hope it helps the district to rethink its policies, because even if it doesn’t care about trans kids, I know it cares about money.

Henry Cavill has done the same, which makes me worried for Witcher when that shoe drops.

This whole situation in Hollywood feels like a new Chris Rock bit. “’I ain’t never sexually harassed/assaulted anybody!’ What do you want, a cookie?!? You’re not supposed to sexually harass/assault anybody, you low-expectation-having motherfucker!”

She’s also accused Kumail of being awful and kinda implied something about Starr. I wish people wouldn’t speak in code so much.

And this is why guys who get all squirmy and scared whenever the topic of #MeToo comes up should always be suspect.

I mean, in the article from 2018 they reference (https://news.avclub.com/alice-wetterlund-says-t-j-miller-everyone-else-on-sil-1827720729) she is anything but “subtle.”

OK. So here’s how it can do down on B Positive.

Alice really can’t catch a break though with the lead star of her new show being a Whedon regular who was defending him against Ray Fisher riiiiiight up until his Buffy co-stars came out and then he got kinda quiet.

I’ve just been super impressed by the ensemble all the way around. The interplay between Asta, Darcy, and Judy just seems so lived-in compared to a lot of other shows.

As much fun as Tudyk is obviously having on Resident Alien, Wetterlund’s Darcy is my favorite part of the show.

It’s pretty wonderful. Feels like everyone is having a lot of fun and it shows in the performances. (hopefully we don’t find out in 3 years that Tudyk is a creep... I would be crushed)

Fuck Middleditch and his show.  Check out Wetterlund’s new series Resident Alien.  It just got renewed for a second season, and she has a role in it.
