Yeah, it’s not only NOT about Fred, she smoothly avoided talking about him at all, no matter how often he was brought up. She refused to say so much as, “I’ll really miss working with him after all these years.” Methinks maybe she won’t.

I should add that Jews simply refer to the First Testament as, you know, The Bible. There ain’t a New one.

Former seminarian here, not that it matters. “Scripture” can be applied to any sacred text. We think of it as specifically referring to the New Testament, but in progressive seminaries (as my own was) we refer to the “Old” Testament as the Hebrew Scriptures, or sometimes the First Testament.

I can’t remember seeing a documentary that made me as angry as that one. Lots of documentaries have upset me and left me heartbroken, but I was FURIOUS after watching The Keepers.

I live near a town (in the south) that used to be used for major films as well as run-of-the-mill television shows, and it took years — by years I mean a couple decades — for there to be anyplace reliable for the cast and crew to eat or go out for drinks. It was a cheap location to film, the area got tax credits, and
