Well unless you want to play it handheld.

Wow, got the Wii U at launch? That was the first one I passed on (or rather, chose to pass on).

That cosplay gif though.

Because power=fun, right? And how does is the Switch a gimmick? It’s just a tablet with controllers.

Seems like the hip thing nowadays is to talk about how awesome Majora’s Mask is and how overrated OoT is. I think it boils down to gameplay vs. story. As people get older, they care more about story so it’s not too surprising. Disappointing, but not surprising.

Most people using them aren’t disabled... They’re using them because it gives them a big advantage over 99.9% of other players. Controllers are the default for consoles, and have been for years. If you prefer m/kb, friggin’ play on PC.

Imagine you love to run, you enjoyed running around as a kid and maybe even took track in school, running very frequently. Well now, later, you decide you want to enter a race, you put on your shoes and go to the starting line, then watch as 5 people easily pass you because they’re riding a bike. You see wheeled

This may sound stupid but, why cant those people just, ya know...play the PC version?

I’ve pre-ordered it because I love the concept and don’t want to miss out on all the future Nintendo games. I’m also confident that at the very least it will have Virtual Console and that you’ll likely be able to buy all the games that are currently on it, or at least the ones available on the Wii U. That’s enough for

I think they’re doing it right. Charge a lot for the initial hyped fanbase (I am one of them suckers). Then drop the price for the holidays to $249 and bundle that with a game. then drop it again summer 2018 to $200. No need to take loses on each sale in the initial launch. Just look at the preorders. They’re all sold

I actually can’t see it even after seeing the edited one...

And Mario Kart, Disgea, SMT, Sonic Mania, Xenoblades, Arms... seriously guys. It might not be the plethora of games we wanted but it’s hardly as bad as people think.

Announced titles. They’ve said they have more to show, even before launch. And I would assume they’d save a few surprises for E3.

I pre-ordered and have no regrets. Most fun I’ve had in a Final Fantasy game in a long long time. Great deal.

It’s a lot of things. They’re right when they say gamers are migrating to F2P and service-type games in droves, that’s been a reality for 5 years. So that’s not doing traditional AAA any favors. The other thing is, AAA games are bad.

None of those are worth full price. Not for my standards. Actually I’m not interested in playing any of those. Overwatch yes, but that was only $40 to begin with. Battlefield, the single player is terrible and as always the multiplayer is buggy, so that’s an auto no-buy at full price. I did just get it for $30 on

I too just picked up Syndicate for $8. Just as last year I got Unity for $9. I expect this year’s remaster to be $10 by next chrstms. This is how I buy Assassin’s Creed games now.

while games as a service may be a part of it, i think a part of it might be that games are really really long these days. now, i have fewer free hours these days relative to when i had a worse job and didn’t work out, but i am way back on my games, and thats before we get into specific dlcs. i can wait for the big

I still plan to give Watch Dogs 2 a chance when the price goes down, but I don’t blame anyone who played the first game and decided to just give up on the entire series immediately. It was pretty bad.
