The console hasn’t even been out for a full year yet. And there are a lot of games for it that are good. If you don’t like it or the type of games that are on it aren’t your thing, that’s fine. But that doesn’t mean it’s “garbage hardware”.

While some games have had a tendency to sell better on Nintendo’s handheld than other platforms, likely due in part to less competition from the smaller overall game library,
Hey, if that means we don’t get loot boxes until 2019, I’m A-ok with that
I don’t care if it took up development time, it improved the game as a whole and probably added years to its life.
tldr
Hmm, a “portable” system where I could work through the last few years of backlog due to competition for resources, like the TV and time in general? This thing is an involved/married person’s dream. . .
More AAA games on Switch are always a good thing.
Not on PS4 lol. Looks like a PS1 game.
I sure didn’t. The game looked like it was made for a ps1. I did try it again with him some time later after not getting my money back since I was stuck with the damn game, and to see if maybe they changed any of that, and nope, still the same ugly looking boring game it was when I first tried it.
Following this “game” and laughing from a while.
Actually, a friend of mine talked me into getting it. I downloaded the game, and within 5 minutes deleted it. Tried to get a refund from Sony, but they said no. But you love it I guess, so you are butthurt at someone not liking it. Cool. How bout you go find someone else to jerkoff to the game with. Surely you will…
Yeah, all the gameplay I seen looked like ASS, it looked like it ran on unity which it probably does and ran at like 11fps with severe aliasing on the graphics. I own it for PC, but I have only 500 gigs a month in bandwidth and a 50+ GB game takes a big chunk out of it.
Man I really regret wasting a dime on this game. Not because of this server stuff, but because the game is sooo boring.
I think what he’s saying is that there was artistry behind the way the game designed it’s textures and set it’s lighting so that you could fill in the gaps with your mind.
You can see the carpets farther back slightly clearer because previously the game’s soul was hanging in front of them. Or something.
I see a difference. The PS4 version looks better. That’s the difference. Guy who wrote this article is a hipster contrarian.
“The gameplay remains untouched” The fact that the writer wrote that means he doesn’t know enough about the game to be qualified to write a post about it. Typical kotaku writers though.
People who prefer the PS2's “quality” visuals are the same people who think VHS offers an experience you can’t get with Blu-ray and that the distortion and low fidelity fuzzing sounds on ancient LP’s are better than than crystal clear audio where you can hear all the instruments.
“Know” is a strong word. I don’t know they’re working on in-house emulation, I pray that they will ...one day.
Though, knowing Sony, it seems like as long as they’re “in the lead”, they couldn’t give half a shit about making their products or services better.
