Yup same here. As a European, I know a bit about American Football, as we call it (and I enjoyed Friday Night Lights so much I have the DVD boxset), but I wouldn't have read this article if it didn't have John Teti's name attached to it.

Ohhh, that I understand, and I certainly don't disagree, but the way it's phrased in this article and in his blog, it sounds like building the mask was this guy's day job. Even so, with design skills like these, just this mask alone serves as a great resumé…

Touché

Epic helmet is epic…
Truth be told, this does look insanely cool.
Although… "more than one year of daily work”… Did this guy win the lottery and doesn't he need to do a proper job anymore? Not sure if I'd be able to 'waste' a year on making ANYTHING that I wasn't sure I'd ever get paid for.

A room entirely filled with product-placement junk. He'll be wearing four watches and getting drunk on Heineken beer and Belvedere Vodka, at the same time. In an Aston Martin.

On my iPod…:
Queen
Queens Of The Stone Age

Oh… what? I'm seriously ashamed to say that I own the original 'Ten' AND I also own that remastered version, but I've never actually listened to it (it's still sealed!), preferring to take out the original CD… If it sounds that differently, I have to finally listen to it!

I've been a Pearl Jam fan since their first album (I always preferred them to Nirvana), and I remember buying Vs. on its release date. However, while there are bands I've seen 10+ times (Nick Cave, Muse) I've 'only' seen Pearl Jam twice, the first time in 1993 on the Vs. Tour, and the second time in 2012. I did also

I remember being super-psyched about the movie, and it turned out to be allright enough. LOVED the soundtrack though; had it on tape when it came out, and still play the digital version quite a bit.

This week…. I can give my blessing to Josh's purging. I'll be honest, I still love Pearl Jam's output A LOT, with my favorite actually being Riot Act (and the live CD's from that era were almost all perfect: I have about 12 of their concerts on official CD).

I thought this said: "Fond hand"

Thanks for answering what was in fact a serious question: I'm probably showing my age, but I'd never heard of her before today.

Zendaya: is that her first name or her last name?

Lady looks like a dude… Wait, what?

No Nickleback, Josh? You are missing out…

N.W.A.
Neon Neon
New Order
Nickleback (yeah, I went there)!
Nightwish
Nine Inch Nails
Nirvana
Heather Nova

I think you just answered the question I was going to ask: which spy came out on top more often?

No love for Blossoms (eponymous album released on August 5th)??? Guys, come ON!

From my 10 year old iPod:
M. Ward
Madonna
Manic Street Preachers
Mansun
Maria McKee
Marilyn Manson
Massive Attack
Mercury Rev
Metallica
Metronomy
MFSB
MGMT
Mick Harvey
Miles kane
Moby
Mogwai
Moloko
Monaco
Moondog jr.
Morphine
Morrissey
Mother Love Bone
Mudhoney
Mumford & Sons
Muse
The Music

And that's why 'reasonable' is my middle name. Anyhow, I most certainly do approve of you keeping your Smiths / Morrissey CD's. Getting rid of Mercury Rev and Mogwai is a crime though.
