It's spelled U-N-R-E-S-T

jesus it's Rappin' Rodney, not Rodney Rappin'. i should know, i bought it when it came out.

maybe you should stop sleeping during the day

"he apparently couldn't even conceived of the grandiose idea that artists of such caliber would bother acknowledging his peasant's presence."
ok "conceived" is a typo, but it should probably be "peasant presence," unless he owns a peasant.

Hooky is what I liked about her…just not seeing it here. I also love Oblivion but haven't heard anything else by Grimes I like, love Toxic and one other song by Spears but ditto…just the way it goes.

Not really into dance music. I like (among other things) good, catchy, original sounding songs. Sometimes that's "dance music," as with Anniemal. I find this and two of the other links you suggested to be rather bland and undistinguished, but perfectly servicable as dance music, I'm sure. As you say, I'm wrong, but

wow, her first record was mostly fantastic, if featherweight—this is just nauseating garbage.

The Returned? Seriously? I liked it all right, but it doesn't come close to greatness. I think I prefer the original movie (very different animal, true), even with the lame ending.

I agree with almost everything the article said, and there are things that bug me that weren't mentioned, but that does not constitute a case against the show. They are deficiencies in what is still one of the best shows of all time, flaws and all. There are things that needled at me about the Sopranos, but I think

A fellow reviewer of mine tackled their previous film during a festival, giving it a "meh" review. When the film was released properly they wrote to the paper asking that he not do the review because a bad review in their hometown was undesirable. When the editor ignored this request their friends loaded up the

Electric Dreams minus the Demon Seed?

So there is apparently *some* question that he is prolific, and that somehow comes up?

First five records, in whatever order you like, and then that's it.

I don't like clowns. I think it goes back to the time a clown killed George Washington, who I am supposedly related to.

I love Deep Thoughts as much as the next guy, but read the first little chapter on amazon and tell me you didn't laugh once and then go "ugh" the rest of the time.

"The reason: not franchise-able, not merchandise-able. " Don't recall him saying that. I remember hearing, or reading elsewhere, that it was too gay for the multiplex, although people that would publicly shun it there, like in red states, would watch it at home.

I mean a cover—by someone who sounds nothing like Chan Marshall—of an old Cat Power tune.

Why not just say "Maxwells"? It's well known, was utterly different than CBGBs, and—alt rock? Really?

kinda nice sounding, but basically sounds like a cat power cover

Wow—I had accepted that AVClub is a shell of its former self, but I never thought it would come to reposting youtube infomercials.
