There is a similar service to this that exists already that not only does this but has an iPhone/iPad app that will send updates to your device as well called AppShopper.com.

I need something like this so THANK YOU again Lifehacker for telling me something useful.
I with you there. I want to see Opera succeed but it would be game over for me if Facebook bought them. My issue is that there are so many shortcut commands that are the same in IE, Firefox and Chrome that are not the same in Opera. That's what keeps me from switching. I feel lost and when Chrome does so well I have…
True but after thinking about this I've realized that save for Sprint this appears to me to be a big push by American carriers towards purchasing un-subsidized phones. I'm an iPhone user and am likely to be one for quite some time so my options aren't so limited any more. I can pay full retail and keep my unlimited…
I've tried arguments like that in the past and it hasn't worked. The argument is that since you won't have to pay a higher price while under contract there's no reason to be able to leave. Heck, even if they do change your contract but there's no history to indicate the change will affect you then they're not likely…
I doubt you could use this to get out of your contract. In order to get out of your contract the change has to be "materially adverse" which this isn't because they're not forcing the change on anyone. Now you could probably go over the USF Verizon tacks on your bill and if that has gone up you could use that as an…
Once these plans go live anyone getting a subsidized upgrade will be forced to choose one of them.
Exactly. From what I have read elsewhere this new plan setup will be your only option. If you're an individual user looking to get a smartphone plan you're going to pay more for the cheapest available plan.
From what I have read if you are already on an unlimited data plan you can keep that in the future as long as you do not buy a subsidized phone. So, keep what you have now but once these plans go into effect you can keep your unlimited data if you pay full retail price or acquire a phone on your own.
Which iPhone do you have? I was tempted to buy this but in the reviews I have read it performs poorly on an iPhone 4 (which is what I have). Also, there is (according to one review) no easy access to podcasts which is half of what I use the audio player for on my iPhone. Heck, I'd love OnCue if it would let me make a…
Having spent all of last week at the mercy of crappy hotel so-called "high speed Wi-Fi" I'm not sure I'm ready for one of these, as much as I imagine I would love it otherwise.
Two things:
I used to own a router that looked exactly like that and it was the worst wireless router I ever used when it came to locking up randomly.
You're asking us? You gave me the one I use!
I don't see an option to sync iCloud at Companiolink.
I'd settle for a way to feed the calendars into Thunderbird's Lightning since there's not a way to manually feed an .ics file into iCloud through the browser.
Can I just say I'm getting tired of talking about and hearing people talk about Paul leaving the internet? I don't care if he does or not and I will read whatever he writes about what it was like (provided it is pretty brief and straightforward and not an entire book or multi-part article) but beyond that I think this…
How long did you have to wait? What browser did you use?
Add me to the list of people that can't get the script to install.
It was a joke because of the heat imaging they used.
