I did something like this when I had gotten a bum phone and no one at the regular customer service line would help me. I did everything I could until I could document that I was being sent in circles, called the executive support line and finally got some real help. It was great.

I upgraded my mobile phone at Best Buy once and eventually came to realize I'd made a huge mistake. This $50 offer is not likely to entice me to return.

Depends. I use it religiously on my Mac at home. I prefer it to iWork and I think that MS Office just costs too much. Now considering how Google Docs continues to improve and that Zoho Docs is good too I'd recommend testing it out.

I find it difficult to apply a blanket statement about reviews. I find that I typically read some of the top and bottom reviews to see what they're saying and why people were against something.

I'll spare everyone and say "troll-ish comment" rather than what first popped into my mind.

Interesting thing is that I got one of the latest model Airport Express routers and all of these are the default settings. I opted for that because there is very little different between the standard and the express and nothing that was worth the extra cost to me.

This vaguely reminds me of the DRM issues that Microsoft's "Plays For Sure" had. I used it for a brief time and downloading a bunch of tracks would result with a vast majority that would play fine but there were always enough that wouldn't to be annoying.

Funny thing is they never mentioned the premium subscription extension when they originally sold the notebooks. I love Evernote and Moleskine but these prices are far too high.

It has been hyped but a lot less (from what I've seen) and I'd bet that's because it coasts a lot more and is a Mac desktop app rather than an iOS app. That and iOS Reminders have gotten better since Clear was released.

Even on sale that's a pretty expensive app for what it does. I'm tempted to get it but now that iOS Reminders are editable at iCloud.com I just don't see the advantage of using Clear any more. I like it but it offers less and costs more. At least they're trying.

Nice. My saved pages in Evernote have been down while you guys were away although I did manage to mitigate that a bit by using Skitch on Art.sy so I won't hold it against you... much. ;-)

Yeah, 25% isn't going to happen with me. My philosophy is that the server starts off deserving 20% and they can go down from there. Even with mediocre service I'll usually hit 15% but if it's bad I may go down to 10%. I can only think of one time when I went far lower than that for truly horrible service.

If Agenda Calendar had the Mini-month view that week cal does I think it would easily be the best calendar but I think the only month view it offers is pretty worthless.

That's one of the reasons I've really liked Day One on my Mac and iOS devices because I can jot things down quickly and I have space to write more if I want but I still capture all the little things that I want to.

American Airlines was so good it needed to be listed twice?

I understand wanting the new iPhone and there has to be a balance but where do you draw the line? John Gruber posted this story along with the statement "I’ve gotten email from a few DF readers with similar stories" and it got me wondering what all of these people will do this time next year when the iPhone 5S or

Between this info and the earlier article you posted about Guerrilla Mail I got the code and will get no email from them. I wonder how much effort they'll put into looking for Max Power.

I like how Google is pre-announcing their Google Drive app for iOS since they pre-announced the update to their search app that has yet to be released weeks after they said it was just a couple of days away.
