I almost feel like this isn't a fair comparison until we know what will happen with the iPad 2. The Xoom is essentially 10 months newer than the iPad and the iPad 2 is close at hand. Heck, it'll likely be announced in a month. I'm still on the fence about this but I will certainly keep my options open until I know

I intentionally kept my grades up in college so I would have the option of additional education. I even looked at going back for an MBA but I just can't think of anything it would do for me right now. It won't get me a raise, I already have a BA and I can't think of anything I would rather be doing in my career

This is a pretty dangerous idea to push. Someone might be able to make it through a marathon but this much exercise all at one time for someone who hasn't trained can be very bad for the health.

@ironraiden: It is for now but the only thing I've been missing is the docx support (as well as xlsx). Now that this is free of Oracle I have a feeling that things will change more than they did previously.

@shkm: I'll second that motion.

I like adding the site:lifehacker.com (or whatever site) to search a specific site. I also like the -term to exclude results that don't relate to what I am looking for.

I'm only like this when it comes to driving. My family and my employer bring me back to reality in all other instances.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. I learned to type with a period and twp spaces after every sentence and it's a habit that is low on my list of habits to change. I've actually filed this concern under the "Gold Jacket/Green Jacket" label.

@Anonymous: For those of us who learned to type on actual typewriters (1990 for me) the teacher taught that the end of a sentence should be followed by a period and two spaces.

The option I want isn't on the list: "Hell No" or "Hells No" should be choices.

The kitchen table.

@Condalmo: It could be that your issue lies in the fact you are trying to use the PortableApps.com version of Chrome. Every time I use my PA version of Chrome I get horrible performance but no issues with the desktop version.

@Doomstalk: You've had things go missing? I get the TSA notice quite a bit but never had anything go missing.

@blackholeinacan: Yes, one free bag for all airlines I think is a must.

@socket7: Sounds like you don't have kids. I felt the same way until I had kids (starting with #1) now I rarely even notice them.

@Doomstalk: Let them recline but about 25% as far as they currently can.

@Zuzax: It's just part of being out in the world. I used to get all tense about it but I realized that unless I plan to not leave my house often I'm going to get sick anyway so I may as well be more relaxed while travelling.

@John Olinda: Have you tried to use the WiFi at an airport when it's free? It's horribly slow. Fine for checking email and some light browsing but Netflix? No way.

The thing I'd change? Tell everyone to calm down. We're all in it together and being a butt head while travelling makes it worse for everyone, especially the one being the butt head.
