@TheFu: I tried the WD devices a few months ago and it would play h.264 files but not rewind or fast forward. I had high hopes but almost all my files are h.264 so that was a non-starter for me.

I use SageTV with their software on a Mac. I wouldn't recommend it. They cost as much as everyone else but they're more like a mom-and-pop in size and resources.
I rarely use the native texting app because I use Google Voice app for all but my incoming marketing texts and texting my wife.
I've been using the nightly build of this for a few weeks now and the thing I like the most is that you can now add subtitles without them being burned in (if you use the subtitles rather than closed captioning).
This is, honestly, the reason I'm saving my ducats for the iPad 2. This is going to feel like the longest 3 months of my life.
I have taken a nap at work twice. The first time it was a prescription drug interaction that knocked me out, almost literally. The second I was tired and laid down on my couch and got caught. I didn't think it was such a big deal but others disagreed.
Not so happy about this. The apps I've returned (like Bee Jive) I would not have known that I wanted to return them inside of 15 minutes.

@egoods: Thanks!
I had to do this twice within a few months and then I've never had to do it once I stopped using task managers on my Droid. But it's nice that Google has made restoring your Android device pretty darn easy including re-installing apps, preferences and settings automatically.
This would be helpful if it were available on a Mac. I've encoded the same movies with the same settings on both a Windows PC and a Mac and the Mac produced a much better looking movie. Ever since then I've never used handbrake on my PC,
Finally. What took them so long?
Fake word in a time of layoffs? someone's business is doing well.
@egoods: Yes, but what would you recommend? I have a friend who paid $30/month but you say there are good ones for $10. That is what I'm interested in.
@egoods: Yes, second that motion. What service do you use?

This has to have been created by someone from Utah. I travel quite a bit and there are asshole parkers everywhere Utah seems to have a higher percentage of them per capita.
