I agree, if automation isn’t happening early on in the game, I tend to get super bored of it. I don’t mind punching trees for a little bit to start a new outpost to get automation started, but I’m gonna be annoyed if there isn’t any form of logistics happening.

Thank god I’m not the only one confused about the appeal.

You know what else is about time and resource management, having a job.

The deeper meaning is to generate ad revenue from engagement. Which you’ve successfully assisted with. Good job.

Think the question is more does every game need to be this?

at least in palworld you can set up automation pretty early on. if you’re still manually looking for resources after a certain point there are plenty of guides for efficient automation.

I’m getting that way with Crafting Mechanics in general. Final Fantasy 16 was a big offender for me of “why the heck can’t this just be me buying/finding a better sword?”

I agree with this. They really need to get over the boring tedium crap that keeps people away from these games.

All of these survival games are just Inane Chore List Simulators, and I do not even remotely understand the appeal.

No Mikey No Likey.

Artie’s too good for the meme this game is trying to be.

You guys constantly doomsay about what microsoft MIGHT do, and ignore what the competition already is doing.

As if we needed further proof that US tax codes (especially *corporate* tax codes) was a warped and counterproductive clusterf***. As intended by those who want all the benefits of society but don’t want to pay for any of it, especially not their fair share of the burden their lifestyles puts on society.

According to the organization they were standing up against in protest, not exactly the most trustworthy of sources.  There is no proof offered for this, merely their word.

When you said “other classic manga” I thought you meant Dr. Slump, since that was the manga that actually put Akira Toriyama on the map. Sandland was a short manga he did a few years after he was done with Dragonball.

Indies do what Nintendon’t

Uh, you know not buying the fucking games is a choice right?

We found the gamestop ceo

Wow, pissing on the underemployed having to take a bad job over having no job. Very brave

Something tells me it has more to do with fairly inexperienced kids and young adults being told of potential raises that never come and not realizing that they’re going to be expected to work like they’re getting paid commission when they aren’t, all while under constant threat. Seems like you just like to complain
