A PC version would inevitably be modded to remove weapon durability, automatically making it a better game.  Hell, you can probably play a pirated, emulated version that already does this.

I hate this mechanic more than any other in any game. Not going to claim it’s rational, but it’s enough that it kept me from enjoying BotW and I’m not even going to bother with TotK. They could add a mode called ‘Baby Mode for Babies’ that turned off weapon durability, and I’d still play that mode.

I’m not a big fan of Hidemaro Fujibayashi... I did not appreciate BotW, and I don’t plan to buy a Switch to play TotK... (I bought a Switch for BotW, but sold it...) I thought that Skyward Sword was good.
