Wasn’t it the “okay” hand sign where you pinch your thumb and index finger tip with the other three sticking up? Or did I somehow completely miss them fucking up “thumbs up” as well?

While I’m not surprised there’s a character in a fighting game with a broken combo (and thus a tournament usage ban) at launch...

I’m confused.  Why isn’t he driving a forklift and spending the entirety of his wages on capsule toy machines?

I would *main* Artie and scream “LEMON-SCENTED!” with every KO.

I would not be above punting Angelica off the stage now and then.  >_>

Since the game is an homage to the point that it’s a borderline ripoff of Smash, it’s very likely there will be multiple unlockable characters to be found at launch.

Amazon gift cards are only redeemable to legacy Bing Rewards accounts that were created over 4 or 5 years ago. My account is over 3 years old and was too late to get grandfathered in for Amazon gift cards.

I concur.

To be fair, we do live in a city that’s completely surrounded by rural communities that still think it’s cool to have rebel flag bumper stickers and there was an actual fucking Klan march around election time last year less than an hour away. Extrapolate as you will.

That is untrue. If you’re both wearing masks and passing on the street, sure, there’s an effectively 0% chance of catching COVID from one another. But if you’re standing still in a line to buy beer and people are way closer than the recommended 6 foot bubble and some of those douchebros aren’t wearing masks, odds go

I love RenFaires. It’s been years since I’ve been to one. And I’m glad you had a good time.

I am comfortable with asserting that this is almost definitely a money laundering scam.

... And that concludes this week’s What If... Penny Arcade was still good?”

Dammit, I named my kid Link and Nintendo isn’t giving me free Zelda games. :(

I almost want to make a Fairly Oddparents meme in response to this.

Counterpoint: every employee should have the TRANSPARENCY to know what their work is going towards. If they are opposed to the project, they should be allowed to protest their involvement by asking to work on something else or leaving the company.

I played through the entirety of the first Syphon Filter game using ONLY the taser against non-boss* enemies and lit every single regular enemy in the game on fire.

Oh god, now I’m having WalMart flashbacks. Last time I went in there, a dude straight up tried to start a fistfight with me for accidentally looking at him when he started shouting verbal abuse at the woman he was with... and all security told him was that he needed to put his Covid mask back on. Thanks for that.

As someone certified in computer repair, it has been my overwhelming experience that “Joe Schmoe” tends to care more the price tag being cheap than the reviews when buying computer parts, especially those parts that aren’t (assumed to be) critical.

I admit that I had no idea that the Crunchy+Funi combo on VRV was only for US subscribers. I don’t pretend to know the ins and outs of licensing deals, but it generally sucks that streaming deals are tied to geopolitical areas like that.
