That General Lee wrapped truck is the perfect metaphor for what Kid Rock actually is.  The suburbs with a redneck wrapper.

I can’t stand Musk either, and it makes my skin crawl to do anything that may appear to defend him, but waves of layoffs have been happening across the entire tech industry for the last 2 years.

Just this one is fine. The rest are still gay, unfortunately.

Major online car site doesn’t understand how Dukes of Hazzard is an everlasting part of the car culture?

I’m genuinely curious as to how he managed to drive off in the vehicle. Teslas are nearly impossible to steal, unless one has the keycard and/or a paired phone key in their possession. If a more sophisticated method exists, he doesn’t strike me as having the intellect to employ it.

I was a field validation test driver for Mercedes-Benz Research and Development for two years, and a pre-production durability test driver for Porsche and Audi for a year and we drove our test cars out there all the time. I’ve also driven personal cars out there, a 2010 Subaru Outback and my 2017 Mini Cooper and

The shareholders need more value, don't you see? They require heavy dividends and capital gains to maintain their idle lifestyle. Paying employees too much money can be expensive and set a dangerous precedent.

For real - they’re selling First Edition Land Cruisers for nearly EIGHTY thousand dollars and they still can’t pay a competitive wage? Something’s not right.

It appears that your keyboard needs some maintenance.

Thats not the same as saying “you can beat the crap out of them and not have to fix them”

OMG... who cares.

The Toyota Tacoma, I really wanted one with a stick in that amazing Blue color. I finally found it, was all set to go home with it until I drove it. What a giant piece of garbage they are. I can not for the life of me get why folks want these. They look great and I was all bought into the idea. But good gravy it was a

When I read the headline I thought, “well there are only two EV trucks on the market, F-150 and CT, so uhh?” That does not bode well for Rivian in that they aren’t even on my mind. Hummer EV Truck doesn’t even count as it is more H2T or whatever that thing was.

I test drove a 4Runner a couple years ago. It likely would have been a 2017 or 2018. It was easily the most disappointing vehicle I’ve ever driven - and I’ve had a lot of crappy airport rentals.

^ This. The line is at anything more than words.

I’ll be there first to make fun of people who buy the CT, but I think there’s no reason to be angry at or spit on someone’s car. It’s a fucking car, it didn’t bully you in high school or something.

I generally only see Cerberus products (no wait, Stellantis) in lots like this.

Looking forward to the reporting of FCA, Toyota, Ford, VW and GM doing the same.

That’s exactly what they are doing, and it’s extremely misleading.

First Gear: This is a question for the Accountants in the audience. It seems damn near impossible to actually spend $100,000 more than the sale price on these vehicles to actually build them. No one on earth would greenlight something that ridiculous.  What weird accounting wizardry is going on to come up with that
