It’s bonkers. These people are attacking AOC’s intelligence from the side of Inhofe, Gohmert, and the current president.

Good thing AOC is the primary scientific authority on ACC for anyone outside of Twitter and right-wing news sites.
“Whiny tax-dodger still mad his team never wins tournaments”
Also rich considering how long her father (and only reason for any public platform at all) spent in a literal cage.
Try reading again: “I have little doubt some are trying to make it a thing, but it’s not exactly synonymous with the right.”
I have never seen a far-right person use that flag. The Gadsden Flag, sure. I have little doubt some are trying to make it a thing, but it’s not exactly synonymous with the right.
Yeah, this one struck me as a pretty big overreaction.
I legitimately do not understand how you can look at the history of the US since Reagan and come away thinking that most of the population is secretly socialist but doesn’t know it yet.
Yeah, I work in Brussels and am really sick of hearing how Sanders is conservative compared to here. It’s total bullshit. These types should check out the party platforms of the European People’s Party (the main center-right bloc in the EU) and tell me how much they look like Sanders’ plans.
Sanders is considered center-right in the EU because the policies he’s proposing are center-right in the EU.
I think it’s mistake to assume that all of Sanders support in 2016 came from people who consider themselves avowed socialists; many just wanted a “not Clinton” candidate.
It’s incredible how many Bernie supporters don’t understand that the conspiracy theorist attacks and holding on well past his mathematical elimination actually made a difference.
The best possible outcome is that Sanders, win or lose, lays the foundation for a viable socialist project that radically transforms American society into a fairer, more just place, a sort of left-wing answer to what Barry Goldwater did for the right.
It’s incredible for the English to call anyone else in the world arrogant. This is from the country currently being politically consumed by its delusional arrogance.
You can also install Copenhagen lanes where there is street parking (in which the bike lane goes between the parked cars and the sidewalk, rather than between parked cars and the street). There is still the risk of dooring, but it’s a free way to add barriers between bikes and cars.
The problem is that American cities have been designed with cars in mind for the last century. Density has been discouraged, car companies bought and shut down tram systems, and sprawl has made commuting on a bicycle much worse.
But should cyclists obey traffic laws?
Bikes are way more dangerous to a pedestrian.
You also can’t get mad at the lions for eating you if you jump in their cage.
