this fucking rules.

If you’re not the only one, can you take the others off in a corner and all of you shut the fuck up and let us enjoy something?

You’re right, trench warfare for 2 hours in a movie would be much better. (and Wonder Woman runs right out of the trench immediately)

Screen time for Luke mourning Han Solo’s death? Nope.

Oh sure, some may laugh at the Extreme universe, but I’ll have you know it’s produced some great characters, like Youngblood, Bloodstrike, Bloodpack, BloodForce, Team Blood, The Blood Guys, A Big Kiddie Pool Full of Blood, Bloodo the Blood Dog, Bloodweiser, BloodSquad, A Used Tampon, X-Blood, The Blooder Business

@TRT-X seems particularly salty. He’s dismissing comments left and right for (correctly) calling out his comment as inane and shitty.

How else are they going to make themselves feel better?

Holy shit, the number of folks who want everyone to know that they’re super-invested in this film not doing well is just....mystifying.

I hear this often but it is totally wrong. Bonus Journey is to Excellent Adventure as Empire Strikes Back is to Star Wars.

I’m confused. What is your argument here?

A multi-billion dollar film franchise that has a chokehold on cinemas and has grown so big that they are releasing three movies in the series per year and could easily up it to four? Which not only breathed new life into their non-Spider-Man and non-X-Men properties but also gave more attention to lesser known heroes

So, what’s up with that guy in the cowboy outfit?

I’m calling it now.

> When Iron Man was made, there was no sense of it being part of a bigger “universe” to come

I think saying there was no sense of a bigger universe to come with Iron Man was demonstrably inaccurate, given the Nick Fury scene at the end. It’s clear that they had that idea already, and started building towards it immediately. But in any case, it’s irrelevant to my point, which is that the MCU didn’t come about

They did it for suckers like me. I loved both uses of “Immigrant Song.” And Valkyire doing a cocky slow-motion stride to the undead legions to it was just...everything.

Wh....what?

I stopped hating Steve the instant he decided to hang around and fight the monster back in season one, by midway through season two he’s one of my favorite characters.

Now playing

You aren’t alone. I have never heard of it. But ordering things without the items that define them, as a form of humor, has been a thing for a hell of a lot longer than 10 years

one of my favorites along that line

Excellent! I need more Bill and Ted in my life.
