My mistake. Although I would like to add to this thread that Burton had Batman throwing Joker's henchman down a very tall bell tower. And I doubt there was pillows at the bottom.

To be fair at the time we all thought we'd see Ra's again considering he always comes back from the dead in everything else.
I don't mind Superman and Batman killing if you're willing to explain why you're going against lore or make it part of some philosophical theme. But shrugging off snapping Zod's neck as growing pains is just a big FU to fans. I'm assuming he lets Bats kill just to give a middle finger to the criticism.
As if 50 years after the Civil Rights Movement was enough time to wipe away centuries of racism. Yes, I wish it wasn't an issue. But it's not going to go away just because we're "tired" of it being a problem.
I know Hulu makes money by playing adds so it's advantageous to automatically start a new program, but I don't understand why they insist on telling me Gotham is a show I watch, and by the way there's a new episode. I haven't actively watched it since episode 4 (and most likely it was off my DVR at the time) and yet…
He's also going to turn off his guest's mic when he disagrees with their opinion? Does Doug do this too? Kind of a childish thing to do. I disagree with a lot of people's favorites but if they feel like sharing their opinion I don't tell them to shut the f up. And yet I'm the asshole without a podcast. Must be doing…
For cheesey yet highly effective sax would be M83's "Midnight City". Any other track it would be considered to corny, but goddammit it works so well.
For once I agree with Arby's.
While watching overreactions on Reddit is fun and all, I did feel bad for the one guy who said DC diehards like himself defended MoS for years hoping that BvS was going to prove them right. And now that reviews are saying it's worse has pretty much killed their hopes to come out of Marvel's shadow.
You can argue that Bane is smart enough that he would just expect these coincidences and actions to happen, citing this is how humans have always acted. But that was the whole motivation of The Joker in TDK, and it's not like the Nolans had anything new to say about the subject.
To be fair I also didn't understand a thing he said in Fury Road.
Like the Daily Show intro!
Going to see Deadpool by yourself? Fine. Seeing Zootopia by yourself? Creep.
Cover up your Webcam.
I stopped watching after the second episode as well but finished the series before starting Jessica Jones. I do think the show gets better as it goes on especially when Fink starts to become a presence. When the show's pieces start lining up and everyone is taking a part in the overall season's storyline it shines.…
And the closing argument will be Showtime chopping lumber and smiling coyly at the jury. Raises their index finger to their lips and mimes a shhh, as if it'll be his and the jury's secret, ruining 7 years of everyone's lives and sending a complete f you to their fan base who tried so hard to care even if the last few…
I agree with you 100%. Over the years I've learned my buddy has a somewhat skewed idea of success, not just in Hollywood but how he measures success in his own life as well. He once made a comment about how silly he felt going to the gym on a weekday at 1030am because everyone would judge him and assume he was…
I know he enjoys watching Disney/Pixar and some cartoon shows with his kids, but without the Disney name or a proper theater release he's the type of guy who would think that direct to video means it must stink. I bet if I had told him that Hamill's Joker is considered one of the best portrayals he would have a hard…
A buddy of mine was telling a friend how thank goodness Mark Hamill had Star Wars VII because that guy's career has been awful otherwise. I mean, have you looked at his other work? Voice acting? Who would ever want that?
I don't watch the show but I thought the kid from The Walking Dead would make a good Jake, though he's probably getting too old now.
