I was initially worried that PvZ2 was going to ruin my love of the first because of freemium. But man was I wrong. I still won't purchase anything (mostly cause it's a rabbit hole I can't afford to fall into), but I was this close.

There's a bonus level in DK: Tropical Freeze that does the silhouette-ing art style and I pointed out to my wife how neat it is to change art direction in the middle of a game and it let's you fill in the color with your mind.

Liked for admitting your only reason against a new game is failing in front of your children.

This might actually get him to finish the series.

Revelations gets a bit weird but what do you expect from the last book in a series.

As you saw in my other comment I enjoy his fantasy stuff that I'll probably forgive whatever crazy comes up. I've met maybe 2 people who told me the ending blew and ruined everything for them. But I've also came to an understanding in my teens that Kings books will always be about the journey. Also to not trust

Really good. As @nunez says it takes a few chapters because he switches perspectives between past, present and the game that it takes a moment to get into his rhythm. Also as a fan of the Mountain Goats he writes this book like he writes his lyrics so it was hard not to have his songs in my head while I read.

Talisman is great although I'm one of those weirdos who might prefer King's fantasies to horrors.

Have you read other Pynchon's books? I like to think of myself as a decent reader but there are so many moving parts I just couldn't get a grip on it. Friends tell me the movie so good (none of them have read the book) so I'm still excited to watch it.

Book 3 of the Dark Tower series. Enjoying every word of it right now but I'm prepared for the decline in writing after book 4. I'm sure it'll be OK but man do people's responses to me about get very polarizing.

As a fat person I can say we do not do anything that really gets our mass off the ground. No skips, jumps, or sadly, hops.

Agreed. I strangely know a couple people who have had their songs in TV shows and while their names aren't big I couldn't be more happy for someone who is making money off of their dreams.

We Were Dead Before This Review Even Sank (if this album had sucked, which it didn't).

I originally thought the lyric was "dramamine, swallowing dramamine". Which still sounds like a modest mouse lyric.

I'm excited for you. I really got into MM when We Were Dead first came out and as one of my favorite bands now I'd say it's best work backwards. By the time you get to the early stuff they'll feel more like demos that show a band with great ideas but haven't reached their potential (and prove their "sound" really

On Modest Mouse's Wikipedia page it says something about using Gravity Rides Everything in a car commercial and quotes Isaac with something simple like "Financially it just made sense" which is simple and elegant in the fact that people like to get paid.

Yeah but who really cares about the story in World of Warcraft?

Isn't being able to choose which channels we want instead of subscribing to packages what consumers have wanted /how the industry was turning?

It's a long running issue from when we were dating. My goal is to die before her so that she's absolutely miserable and in my will I leave her my last note, "I secretly hated Android products."
