Psssh, whatever. If that official wasn't asking for it, he shouldn't have been there in the first place wearing that outfit.

It's to be devoutly hoped that, somewhere in a distant galaxy, a race of sentient rabbits is having this conversation whilst picking their teeth with human cartilage.
"I'm just saying that if this was the route they wanted to take, perhaps a chicken might have been more impactful."
It would be even better to stop eating meat though.
I actually agree with this idea in general. I think knowledge about food and where it comes from is desperately needed in society.
Having had a baby at home with a team of two midwives (pro-vax ones, I feel compelled to add), this seems about right. All prenatal visits were carried out at the midwife's office, on a standard prenatal care schedule. They came to my home for my 37 or 38 week visit so that a) they were sure how to get to my house, b)…
I'm not sure where you live but in Ontario, Canada midwifery is highly regulated and all of what you just said is not true.
So what gives you a right to critique and/or judge white culture?
I don't know if you've had a baby. Maybe you have. But usually, one nurse will make you cry. I had one tell me that if I didn't *wake my baby up every hour to nurse, all night long, that I wouldn't produce enough milk, but that it was "fine if I didn't care."
So what if they are white. What a terrible fucking article.
So are we all, sweetie. So are we all.
Now that's just bad gardening, lol.
My husband and I are both Hispanic and we are planning on having a homebirth. Guess wanting to have our baby born around family makes us white. Someone should tell our skin.
Close, but that's the WASPiest thing ever.
The joke is that white people don't have problems.
Me either. I'm actually confused. Maybe "first-world" is what the author was going for. This is really stupid.
i don't understand what makes this whitey mcwhite. the anti vaxxers? the midwives? the home birth? or being shamed by midwives who are crazy anti vaxxers?
I think this whole thing is kind of shitty. It's like...let's berate women for getting C-sections and using westernized medicine, but let's also make fun of them and talk about how "white" they are if they have a midwife. Didn't Jezebel post an article the other day about women's choices on giving birth and how it's…
Do non-white people not use midwives or care about the vaccine controversy? I am not being flippant here - I am genuinely curious what the views are on these subjects.
