Yeah I had a friend whose ‘suitor’ put a bomb in her trunk.

Look, I know we all aren’t supposed to like Taylor Swift or whatever, but making jokes about men doing incredibly creepy things to terrorize her seems a little...much?

There is nothing more difficult than standing in front of a group of people and letting silence be. (I know this from my teaching career...). It’s interesting to see the audience reaction - silence makes people so uncomfortable! Some feel the need to fill it - cheering, chanting etc - until the silence sinks in.

I’m sobbing. This woman is so brave. To be thrown into to this and handle it with such strength and poise. Last I heard she’s attending my Alma Mata in the fall and I don’t feel worthy.

Am I the only one that understands it was a joke? That the last person they tried to have an orgasm with was themselves?

Loony Toons was one of my childhood Saturday morning favorites! I don’t think we can blame ourselves for being kids just trying to watch TV. It is what it is.

I think a whole point of a museum is that the museum wants to control what experience its visitors have, no? Someone who goes to the theater wouldn’t put on a costume and recite lines from a different play, would they? You wouldn’t go to an art museum to show off your own watercolors, would you? This lady was intent

I don’t know her personally, but I run in the same circles as her. MOST people who dress up like this know that you should ALWAYS ask first because most museums and historical places (especially the big ones like the Met) are not cool with this sort of thing. So this gets a big eyeroll from me.

Have you ever seen the conditions cows and pigs suffer in industrial meat farms? They are absolutely tortured and spend their entire lives suffering horribly as well. As a vegetarian I agree it’s hypocritical to criticize another culture for unethical meat production practices when they are just as bad here.

Have you been to a factory farm?

Why is it zero sum? I care about both. I don’t eat meat as well. Caring about horrific conditions for dogs in Korea is not hypocritical in any way.

It is hypocritical for us to arbitrarily care so much more for dogs in these horrible intensive farming situations, than we do for the pigs and cows and chickens, who feel just as much pain, in farms here at home. That being said, I cannot WAIT to see Game Changers - the movie.

I mean, it’d be cool if the new employer doesn’t publicly call the victim a liar. That’d be a decent start.

Also, the moment is on photo

“He’s either the world’s best liar, or he’s telling the truth.”

Nothing Mississippi does can surprise me.

This is...this is strange comment to make

Apropos of nothing... is the lack of capitalization of her name in some parts of this article an oversight, or is she like the bell hooks of porn?

The flu shot is indicated for people who are pregnant, so I don’t know what the hell your docs are talking about.

Rose needs to step back and get some help. I totally get being (rightfully) angry. She was victimized and then re-victimized when people refused to listen and believe her. She should revel in her vindication. However, she’s letter her unresolved anger take over. She’s spinning out and won’t be an effective advocate
