As long as it's a Black Widow in Iron Man 2 type deal, as opposed to a full on Civil War type JLA 0.5 thing. BvS has shown that DC struggle to hold focus on any one character when someone else is added, hopefully that doesn't carry over to this as well.

Brilliant start to the season, the cast firing on all cylinders, some brilliant jokes (Archer's confusion about chickens slayed me), a refreshingly updated animation style, and some intriguing setup for an overarching plot, I think we're in for a good ride.

Exactly, there wasn't really any groundwork outside of that brief Wayne Enterprises teaser on the satellite in MoS, and the Lexcorp truck, that were probably just put in as fan service instead of as part of a long term plan.

Reviews alone suggest that it is worse than AoU, that wasn't received anywhere near as well as the first Avengers but it's still sitting on a 75% rating almost a year later.
Obviously subjective enjoyment is what counts the most. If you (lord forbid) enjoy Snyder's style, or are just a huge Batman or Superman fan and

How so?

DC fanboys will carry this movie over the line at the box office, Cool Runnings style, just as they've been valiantly hammering away at their keyboards posting 10/10 reviews on IMDB and RT without having seen the film at all.
In the hands of a more capable director, and perhaps without the interference of a company

Tarsem Singh has the exact same problems as Snyder, granted with a bit more vibrancy, but he's also style over substance.

Watched Dune on Netflix last year while on a post-club recovery day, suffice to say I found it more than a little odd, but still some fantastic Lynchy visual moments in there. The cast give it their all, and some of the special effects look decent still, but as the article states so very eloquently, the underlying

Incredibly excited for this, not only for the characters and the story, but also because (and we're all suckers for it) Marvel have nailed the trailers and marketing from the get go.

Really? I've watched it from the beginning and I think it's just been getting better and better, especially since they dropped the "mystery of the week" structure halfway through season one and started embracing more long term story arcs.
It is a very different beast now, less jokey and teen drama and a bit more

A great episode to kick off the second half of the season. I hope/know we'll get more character focused episodes down the line, but it was nice to see an episode of AoS embrace its powered characters and give us some nice action spectacle - the police station take down was a very nice set piece indeed.

Pretty sure they knew there was a 2 season renewal as soon as 10 finished, or so I think I've read somewhere. If not then I'm properly excited to see how they end this season and where they start the next one.

This episode was a straight up A for me. Like the best of It's Always Sunny it pushed the gang to their limits, playing up their foibles to the extreme and showing just how far they'll go regardless of the consequences.
Frank and Charlie were hilarious, Dennis was creepy af, Dee's rage was astonishing, and Mac's

People hate on Metallica now, and granted their recent output has mostly been anything but amazing, but And Justice For All, Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning, The Black Album, and this absolute monster will forever stand as rock and metal classics. This is the album that inspired me and my friends to get serious about

I already played classical guitar, but that song (and album overall) made me beg my parents for a cheap ass Epiphone electric guitar when I was 14 so I could nail that moment where it just switches into overdrive. So many fun memories.

Uncle Jack's reaction to his hand flying off absolutely slayed me, the manic screaming as he ran to get it back, brilliant stuff.

This film was good, but veered too close to Malick territory for my tastes, turning into something like a mashup of The Grey and Tree of Life, with a bit of Aguirre and Fitzcarraldo thrown in for good measure.
Visually it's flawless, as the article lays out so well, every shot is just a masterclass of framing,

To Be Kind is one of my favourite albums of all time, absolutely incredible piece or art.

Gira posted a picture of them mastering the album in Berlin, the excitement is palpable.

Also Swans and possibly Run The Jewels 3.
