Those two lines made me very happy indeed.

If he stays in his Lash form and becomes a recruit for Daisy's Secret Warriors perhaps
I agree, the whole FitzSimmons thing just feels a lot more natural than the relationships the show has attempted before, notably Skye and Ward, it's a pretty realistic reaction to have when you love someone who loves someone else but don't want to lose them.
I kind of hope she is, but I feel AoS relies on the…
Another cracking episode in what has thus far been a great season of AoS. I wasn't expecting them to bring the plotlines together so soon, but I'm glad they did, and so cohesively as well. The final montage with FitzSimmons showing the team the symbols while Malick narrates the story of Hydra was seriously well done,…
I used to volunteer one afternoon a week in a charity shop when I was in high school, and naturally most of the customers were elderly men and women who lived in the town. Just taking a few minutes to talk to them, ask about their day, what they're up to, it's no effort at all and can make a world of difference to…
I would also rather like that $5k Saint Laurent jacket that he's wearing, that shit is dope.
If I had to pick an episode of this series that shows people what it can do, it would be this one. It has the perfect balance of honest writing, smart direction, and savvy social insights that could come off as heavy handed but instead are handled with humour and warmth balanced with genuine seriousness.
It could have…
The nice guy bit slayed me, I know a bunch of guys in real life who are absolute douches then claim to be single because women don't like "nice guys," it's painful to see them be so oblivious to their own foibles and place the entire blame on supposedly stuck up women.
Loved how the nightmarish shot of Ed when the Gerhardt kid (the name eludes me) first goes into the shop is mirrored when Ed actually kills the dude by burying a cleaver in his head.
This show is so on form at the moment, one of the best written, shot and acted things I've ever seen on television. Seriously, is there…
Absolutely, that little moment where they hug in the corridor didn't have to be there, but the fact they put it in to reinforce their bond shows how the writers are treating these relationships much more naturally than before.
Not quite on the same level, but it put me in mind of the scene from Interstellar when McConaughey sees the video messages from his kids.
I think C+ is a little harsh for this episode. Yes the writing and direction were relatively bland, but I still found myself thoroughly engrossed by pretty much every scene. As the review says the relationships the writers have built are now its strongest suit, as opposed to the very beginning when it felt like nobody…
That's one of things I noticed and loved as well, it's so nice to see a realistic depiction of technology that we all know and use as opposed to the shows that either don't acknowledge its existence or try to make it a really painful part of their central conceit.
What would you rather have, a low budget CG-ed battle like every other sci fi series ever?
So weird seeing H Jon Benjamin in real life and not just hearing him as Archer, but I agree with the review in that this episode felt a bit more stilted than the others during the first 2/3. However the ending redeems it, real heart and honesty from Ansari, and those of you who have seen the entire series know that…
I think it's safe to say that by the end of his run we may well be referring to Capaldi as The Doctor, the definitive one. He brings everything the previous incarnations have but by the grace of his performance makes every quirky moment or thundering monologue seem that much more vital, that much more engaging, truly…
Wow, don't think I've ever seen an F on here before, though only been around for about six months. Has anything else ever scored so low?
It's so irritating to have people who know nothing about gaming use it as a yardstick to judge all gamers and lump them into some kind of sweaty misogynist neckbearded horde of virgins.
Gamergate pissed me off as a gamer, but as with any kind of extreme minority the empty cans tend to rattle the most. I hope people understand that 99% of the gamers out there are just normal people who want to have fun.
I love the use of Jumping' Jack Flash by Ananda Shankar during the opening credits of Indians On TV.
