His mum wasn't amazing, her delivery gave away the fact that she's not a real actor, but his dad absolutely slayed me. I think it might be because my dad, who moved to the UK from India, sometimes slips into a similar accent, but the honesty and warmth with which he delivered some very funny lines made him an absolute

It'll be a great callback if it turns out his security council post was just a front for his Hydra affiliation all along.

An A- minus for me, a great episode of SHIELD that played to its strengths and was entertaining throughout. I love how the writers have finally realised that putting off reveals for entire seasons is just frustrating, having Andrew outed as Lash at this early stage allows for far more tension to be built up in

The trailer for this sold it to me, this review suggests that it may have just gone from "That looks good" to must see level.

What a surprisingly brilliant episode from AoS. Henstridge just owned it completely, from being curious science Simmons, to utterly broken, to finally full of both hope and despair as they inch closer to getting home.
The addition of Will was a great way to explain her reasons to get back, including the subtle

Loving this series so far, the writing, acting, directing, all on top form, coupled with some lovely visuals and an ever inventive score. I thought they were going to have a really hard time coming up with something as memorable as the first, but it seems so far that we're on for another winner.

Really? I've always loved this episode, always watch it if it's re-run, from the era before Lisa turned from a lovable outsider into a whiny pseudo-tumblrite.

Can't say I've ever ventured over there, I always find that hardcore Who fans tend to take a series or two to adjust to an actor and then fall so in love that they refuse to see any faults. It goes from being "Everything is horrible bring back Smith/Tennant" to "Oh my god he's so good I've always said so."
I guess a

Interesting to see how this episode has divided opinion on different sides of the pond, the more US-fanbased AV Club seems to love it whereas a lot of fans in the UK (on DoG especially) were definitely not sold.
I for one thoroughly enjoyed it, dialogue heavy episodes of Who have always been a pleasure to watch,

"Considering Agent Carter had no black men in recurring roles and Daredevil had its main black male character murdered, the Marvel TV landscape desperately needs Luke Cage to improve representation."
When will TV reviewers realise that token representation is more offensive than not having any black characters at all?

Too soon man.

I know that the ending of Skyfall has its detractors, but I'm glad they went with the approach they did. As cool as Connery would have been it would have just undermined Craig making the role his own.

I did read an article the other day, I think over on DoG, that an early draft of Skyfall actually had Skyfall lodge as a retirement home for old secret agents, and that the old groundskeeper would have been played by Sean Connery (who apparently went so far as to screen-test for the role).
I am a little disappointed

YA is a scourge.

My jaw has been agape for ten minutes now, I can't think of a better way for Fuller and co. to have capped off what is undoubtedly one of the best shows I have ever seen. Brutal, bloody, wicked, twisted, terrifying, funny and morbidly touching until the very end, I don't think we'll be seeing a show quite like this

Another outstanding episode. Sad to think that Hannibal shall be drawing to a close so soon when at the moment it is one of the best shows on television by far, the pinnacle of writing, directing, acting and some truly stunning cinematography and sound design.
Technical artistry aside, the depth of the writing (which

Certainly a much stronger episode than those that preceded it, but as the review suggests, it was almost too little too late. Yes the tone was earned, the characters finally felt justified, the emotional beats actually hit, and their actions were determined by logic as opposed to screenwriting 101, but it was still

When Rick calls Summer and Morty pieces of shit, oh lord how I laughed, I've missed this show so much.

As a fan of LoG from the beginning, have to disagree with this review. If anything Lamb of God have been evolving over their past few albums into a leaner, more focused and more technically proficient band, and this album is another step along that transition. Blythe's lyrics are pretty much the best he's ever done,

Looks fantastic, if it can come even half as close to the dark comic masterpiece that was season one then we are in for a treat.
