Daredevil returned because there is ticking clock on all of Marvel’s sold film rights. I believe Punisher was the same. The FF extension came because of the newest FF film. Each time they make a film, the clock resets. It’s believed most of the rights have a clock of 7 years.

2018 is too soon. Maybe 2020.

I was hoping Dr. Mirage would get a pilot order and do for Valiant Comics what Arrow did for DC Comics.

I’m thinking that and Sabrina are the likely ones. What other big properties does Archie Comics have?

Well, I think we could look to MLS to answer your question. Timbers, Sounders, Whitecaps have their rivalry the Cascade Cup and a three team rivalry, but how big of a rivalry is it? As a Timbers fan, Vancouver doesn’t feel like much of a rival.

I think he mostly means pent up as in towards basketball and hockey.

I’m in Eastern Oregon and I never see Canucks fans. When I watch hockey, I root for the Canucks, but they don’t make me want to watch hockey like the Trail Blazers make me want to watch basketball and the Mariners make me want to Baseball. Canucks don’t really even feel like our region. I see mostly Blackhawks

I don’t see this being a replacement for Legends. Feels more like a dual replacement for Frequency and Jane the Virgin. Jane is gonna be in season 4 which is the magic number for CW (and basically everyone) and the last two shows to make it past 4 seasons on CW were Arrow and Vampire Diaries. Those two were rating

I want to see Archer and Armstrong too. I love the book. Maybe if Dr. Mirage is a success, A&A would be next. They already have Harbinger and Bloodshot and Ninjak projects in the pipeline and Dr. Mirage, so they can diversify with A&A being the next and not doubling up characters on platforms for a while.

I’d like some fresh shows, but I’d like Arrow to not end until about season 8, which is likely sense supposedly they get a bonus from Netflix for every 4 seasons.

Also, look at Vampire Diaries that is ending with season 8.

They are more female focused, but with Arrow, it’s slightly more male focused while trying to bring in females with love stories and Stephen Amell shirtless. CW has female skewing and male skewing shows and I believe Arrow is one of the few male skewing.
