Far Cry New Dawn has been 50% off for multiple sales.  AC Odyssey was $100 with all the DLC, but it’s often been as cheap as a third…

As a non-game developer, I often ponder the difference between a single-use app that’s “done” and a system planned to grow and expand. They’re very different approaches, and something about the artistry of a complete singular item is lost in the bigger sprawls.

Yeah, it almost feels like this is all spoilers. Pre-beta to shake out gameplay balance and server issues is fine (and in fact pretty important as many games including this very one keep proving) but you could do that without the story itself.
