Thoughts and prayers and walls.
Thoughts and prayers and walls.
(Only bothering to reply to make sure you’re not putting words in my mouth.)
Going year to year would be crazy in a team sport. If the club has a bad year, if no one else in the lineup can get on base to get you RBI, if the manager is an idiot who keeps pulling you after 5 2/3, these things all mess up the perceived value you’re arguing for.
It’s amazing how black people are held to such a higher standard than white people.
I’m sure the wall would have prevented this.
It also might be an emergency because something else was grabbing the news cycle. Funny how these crazy things happen right when there’s talk of impeachment.
This morning when I read that the justice department had pondered the 25th in the wake of the Comey firing, I had foolishly asked how he was going to generate a distracting story to shift the news cycle.
This man seems to not have noticed that when the kneeling started Kaepernick had already been demoted to a backup in favor of Blain Gabbert.
That ref is a couple of tint/saturation adjustments away from cosplaying Captain America.
“This sport is terrible! How dare they not let me broadcast it!”
Of the Patriots 53 man roster this year, only 27 of those players were on the team for their victory in 2017.
It’s the getting lost part that’s a big issue in today’s politics.
I’m cool with filibusters if someone actually has to stand up and filibuster.
It’s not just amenities like skyboxes and capacity, there are NFL requirements for the game itself. For example, games need specific amounts of camera angles for replay tech, I’m not sure of the other specifics. So it’s maybe a big refitting to drop a team in an existing stadium, the Ex-Rams-Dome might be a lot less…
Is the Whatever-the-Dome-is-Named in St Louis still capable of hosting an NFL game? They’ve been keeping it running, right?
The trouble with a whole season there is travel. Do you schedule 4 home games in a row so the home team can just avoid flying back and forth every week? If they’ve got an extended American road trip, where do they go back to for practice during the week? I figured 2 home games there back to back would be about as much…
Why isn’t the league jumping at the chance to put 3 Raider home games in Mexico City, 3 more in Toronto, and 2 in London?
Patriots 13
The look of a man who just realized Belichick has been two steps ahead this entire time.
Well, Brady and Belichick together are a team.
