Games are more entertaining when they have understandable, predictable rules. If having replay makes the refs more consistent, then isn’t that a help to the entertainment?

My problem is not as much with the officials missing the PI call, my problem is that the key play of the game was a defender ramming his helmet into a receiver and calling it defense.

But there will be looking back regardless. We will get replays on TV, even if the refs can’t do a thing about it. We get that already - and consider how many times the TV looks at a replay at the same time the refs are looking, and the refs come back with the opposite ruling.

“new editions”???

In a better world she wouldn’t be trying to be a spokeswoman for the Democrats, she’d be a spokeswoman for the Working Families Party. (for example, pick some other third party if you prefer.)

so where does the interpreter fit in to this?

As much as I agree a wide field is nice, and look forward to political debate about policy instead of personalities, my concern is that the party has no means of reasonably narrowing down that field.

The only evidence he’s not a Russian agent seems to be trouble believing Russia would recruit someone that crazy to be their agent.

And how many people are having heroin forced into their system by someone else?  ;)

“We know that God will dispense his justice...”

That’s a pretty good argument when he’s citing numbers of people killed by foreigners and smuggled drugs.

This is why we need unions.

Pretty much for the same reason you let a kicker throw a pass.  It’s a meaningless week 17 game.

Feels awkward handing that a star.  Gonna go ahead and do it anyways.

The far-right who complain about government spending and excess pork added to every bill should be all over this demand for a vanity project....   any minute now.......   any....  minute....

I propose a slight variation...

These men are just... not famous.

They’re voting in guys who’ve only struck out 3 people?!

and yet is still infinitely better than trying to apply “each year we add the 4 best candidates based on some formula against their peers”.

34) Andy Pettitte — ... he’d have made it without the HGH.
