It’s definitely worth reading. It’s the kind of eerie thing that sticks with you afterwards.

The irony is that “what if someone escaped a serial killer as backstory and we see how they are years later” is actually a pretty novel idea in and of itself. It’s just all too rare that someone is willing to start there, they want to anchor it as an actual sequel even if other sequels came along first.

This needs a better word than “reboot”.

I’m a bit lost as to how “so many people” could do this, but the company didn’t assert rights until now. Did they intentionally wait for it to be finished? Did the court case just take that long? I can’t seem to find details of a timeline of the case, anyone know?
