Well if the earth totem means “rock powers”, then yeah, the guy with a big chunk of white dwarf star in his armor should have dibs.

As I understand the director’s intent of showing the decadence of the weapon manufacturers, the so-called “1% of the SW universe”, I don’t think Lando would be running that kind of place. Scamming them out of their bucks would be more likely.

Well, you see, Akbar had just run her out of the service for being a terrible vice admiral, but unfortunately he died off-screen before he told anyone else....

At least the terrible leadership itself explains why the Resistance’s best pilot doesn’t even recognize the vice admiral of their four ship fleet. I mean, maybe she’s just not a very good vice admiral.

A few items are specifically mentioned, like the compass Luke used to find Ahch-To in the first place (first seen in the story mode for Star Wars: Battlefront II),

it’s a vision from the Force, sent to haunt Luke about his inaction after cutting himself off from the living Force.

Those millions of autonomous miles are padded statistics because a lot of those miles are easy test cases.

IMHO, player population is pretty solid. The search and load times are technical issues with the matchmaking system. Frustrating tech issues, to be sure, but there’s definitely something wrong with rolling over from one game to the next - it sometimes will sit there not filling the empty spots, but when you give up

There’s a big difference between canon and so far off theme it defeats the point of a Star Wars game.

Battlefront 1 has always offered gameplay-affecting star cards for cash.

Interestingly, Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson revealed during the director’s commentary that he chose to show BB-8 repairing Poe’s X-Wing because we’d never seen exactly how R2-D2 did it for Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy.

“Really, you see, I do pay attention to Star Wars fans and don’t just go making a movie that has no understanding of the franchise. Seriously, you have to believe this, here’s an example of me listening.”

You raise an interesting point about Stranger Things. I never got the impression that Stranger Things was *about* the 80s any more than MASH or Happy Days were about their settings. Or purely fictional settings like the future or alt-history.

Well, Halliday is not a character, he’s just a McGuffin that narrates a video clip.

Ready Player One doesn’t show any insight as to why we like comics, video games, TV shows, or movies.
