I’ve found that, as I get older, I drift further and further from super-violent games in general. In my late teens and early 20s, I relished serious fps play. Unreal Tournament, Medal of Honor:Allied Assault, and even earlier... Doom.. were all mainstays at the LAN parties I would go to. It was great.

Shots fired at Twitter, which has had its “public interest” exception/disclaimer going strong for the past 3 and a half years to absolve itself of its own self-stated responsibility.

I tried to reply to this, but there was an ad made to look like an inline music player play bar over your comment, too. This is fucking ridiculous.

To be blunt: this site is becoming impossible to use. Huge ads, auto play video that stays locked on top, making text hard to read... Maybe Twitch has finally realized that the platform is big enough that it doesn’t need to indulge individual celebrity assholes to survive.

I don’t understand Twitch. It’s like someone opened a garbage store, then one day decided, “I can’t have all this trash lying around here!”

That first one reminds me of Jon Arryn’s funeral in GoT.

I’m excited to play this with my kid.
