This is a $6,500 idea that appears to be executed in $650 fashion.

The tranny was originally a manual, but is now an automatic.

I’ll pay $6,500 for the lift. One of the nicest lifts I’ve seen in some time. Do they all come in yellow and blue? It’s the liftiest lift I’ve seen in some time.

Exactly .... These people have never seen how weather can effect LIDAR, RADAR, ultrasound etc... Heavy rain can seriously fuck with GPS not mention line of sight and multipathing issues in cities.

But autonomous car fanboys, who usually have absolutely no technical understanding about any of the technology involved works tell us how great this is.

I think the sensor issues are more important than the AI interpretive issues. Right now, the cars don’t “see” so well in heavy rain or fog, and can’t operate properly under those conditions when visibility is less than 4 or 5 car lengths.

And they absolutely do. Compare it to the current alternative.
