She is so Cherman. Which is great btw.

Next time I’m in Germany, I’m renting a car and doing the ring. Need to check that one on my bucket list.

Something I never thought I’d learn on Jalopnik is that girls need a good bra to drive the Nurburgring.

I believe plenty of cars have been made with a center console guage cluster (mini, Saturn ion I think, etc.). It’s really not an issue.

It’s not just the speedo, it’s all of the freaking controls, too. Every piece of information has to populate that screen, AND the screen still has to provide controls for everything, too.

...Have you heard of the word “inefficient” ?

A part of this hell is that most, if not all, oil field trucks are not owned by the people driving them. The number of shits given is minimal.

This comment is why we need a multi star option.

Still CP

I’m curious as to when a $35,000 car became “affordable”. With taxes and fees that’s over $40,000. In what world is that considered an affordable car?

If an ‘autonomous’ car requires perfect roads and signs to function properly, then it sounds like the fucking car needs work.

Every time I drive through a known speed trap?

So, is there a HUD for speed or something? Go ahead and get rid of gauges, but we still need a speedo.

1st gear: Must be nice for Europe to spend money on infrastructure then on Defense as they rely on some one else to supplement them.

The idea that Tesla can’t easily raise money is laughable. If they went out to do a financing round they’d have it closed in a month on their terms. This is a company with over $30 billion of equity value to play with and a relatively small financing need.

I almost didn’t come to work today because of stuff like this

lst Gear: The Cars Are Better Than The Roads

And Stig is back!

I’m probably in the minority on this, but I really love Matt LeBlanc being deadpan in this.

Annoying loud yelling, why do people do this, do they think that overacting is the only way to appeal to auto enthusiasts?
