ISIS as freedom fighters? Good luck with that.

ISIS is a group that openly advocates the murder of innocents on behalf of Allah. You can support Islam and not support ISIS, but the study that Iftikhar is citing said that people supported ISIS, not Islam.

The fact that ISIS supports killing in the name of Islam is a simplistic and fallacious argument? Are you serious?

Islam (at least the one ISIS adheres to) demands Sharia law. Sharia law demands death in certain instances, especially when it comes to disrespecting the prophet. Those who share ISIS's ideology then would have called for death to the publishers of Charlie Hebdo because they disrespected the prophet.

I'm a bit confused here.

Hahaha. Oh shit, there's a tear in the matrix.

That head and shoulders pun would have been better if it didn't contain a typo.

Maybe if we had the rest of the screen, we would know who to contact before playing the film.

Everyone's saying Suggs single-handedly beat the Steelers, but I'm confused because I thought his wife's name was Candace.

I'm sure that 10 year old will grow up to be very well-adjusted and socially adept with parents like this.

Sure, I'll take a picture with you to help show your Facebook followers how generous of a racial profiler you are!

Time to hit the weights.

Instead of a symptom of professional athletes not aware of the world around them and living in a bubble (because this applies to a lot more than pro athletes), it can probably be more convincingly argued that it's more a sign of the academic coddling athletes receive as they set themselves apart athletically in school.

I'm genuinely interested in a source on this.

I think the fact that the author knows about medicine and how shots work means he's not related to Jenny McCarthy.

No one on that team is good enough to need to play through an injury to help the team. Columbia sports - football in particular - is a joke (fencing excluded.)

Maybe I'm the only one seeing it, but it looks like Brown holds onto Gronk after Gronk pushes him just past the pylon and Gronk just says "Fuck it, let's go."

Yeah, but he was asking for it.

Can't figure out what's worse: Bratty kids who have been trained to be this emotional about sports, or the parents who trained them to be this way, then record it and upload it for their own entertainment.

If your defense is "Hey, at least I didn't do what Mike Tyson did," it might be time to take a good, hard look in the mirror.
