I get that it’s more convenient because every laptop is going to have an A/C plug charger and it will work with other random devices but are the conversion losses really worth it on that battery? I much prefer my Astro Pro 2 that has the standard (?) higher voltage DC output plugs. Unfortunately I’m seeing fewer

I found my Tevas from the 90s recently and remember why I ditched them for Chacos: the velcro wears out and then they can’t be worn.

Good on you for coming back and apologizing. This was the top comment for me and I’m like, WTF?

I’ve taken this to the next level. A basic trimmer with a No. 8 attachment (1") works just fine. Like a monkey ready to be shot into space.

You always say that nobody needs a bread maker but dangit if it doesn’t keep me eating better bread and save a lot of money.

I just bought this for the first time a few months ago for the online play capabilities, though I’m actually finding more value presently in the “free” games each month. If I buy one again today will it just extend the subscription for a year at this price? Or would I get a code that I could hold onto for some months

I have a problem with kitchenware in general and cast iron is the worst offender. I have six, and use perhaps three regularly. I have almost as many at my cabin too where I manage to use just one, and very rarely two. I do not need this dutch oven. I already have one, it just doesn’t have the clever lid that’s also

At some point these are going to become too much data to be on such a small thing that is easily lost. I do still marvel at the times.

A lot of criticism of the desktops listed there, and that seems in line with many of the reviews on Amazon itself. Can anyone comment on the Y700? Reviews there seem considerably better. Space is oddly/irritatingly at a premium in my (big) house (basically we have too much crap) so a small package like this would be

Oh I don’t know that there’s any drama and in fact I can’t find any evidence of such. If my guesses at the company histories are correct this product existed first; perhaps Clarisonic/L’Oréal is perfectly happy to have it associated and I’m sure in some cases ephemerally confused with a decently well regarded bullet

I’ve been curious, is there some kind of legal battle between Clarisonic (now a division of L’Oréal) and Lelo for this name or have they decided to peacefully coexist? It would be one thing if it were just the one device but they *both* went on with sequels.

Yup, same here. Nothing special, just whatever random bars I get from hotel rooms. So much thought and energy about washing. Maybe I just have a particularly low maintenance face.

You know you got all your stars for the quip about Atherton housewives, and I know I’m just as guilty of falling prey to it as everyone else. :)

The first one reminds me of the opening scenes of La Dolce Vita.

Right right. My point is just that he’s consistently good (IMO), even now in his recent resurrection. Just afraid that it’s all a ruse and the innocent teen in me doesn’t want to believe that.

Are you saying that Berkeley Breathed is in fact a committee?

I spent all day cleaning the results of a mouse infestation at my cabin. I definitely lose.

The full link? Obviously the site name, that’s necessary for routing, but I thought the querystring portion was encrypted.
