I have nothing to contribute and I'm not sure if its just because its early-morning but I can't stop laughing at that second photo.

How many days has it been since the last time the Note was bashed here? It seems like there are more articles mocking the Note than there are talking about new Android or new WP phones. We get it, you yourself don't like the Note but there are some people who would want something that size and just because they don't

I imagine that bringing the two OSs together means making OS X more like iOS rather than making iOS more like OS X; if that latter was the case, I'd be willing to consider an iPhone or iPad.

Also, most people won't have turned their camera/cameraphones on until the "main" event happened.

Ugh. I saw the title on the RSS feed of my phone and thought my actual GMail account was going to be locked out. That's a very weak way to grab page views. And the only funny thing to recently come out of the Onion was the Sportsdome.

I'm guessing that these are so that if someone hovers over a link they'll think its a link to [gizmodo.com] rather than giznnodo.com.

Merging OS X and iOS could very well be a successful business move for them but I'd never again by an Apple product if that happens. I've been using Macs for ~20 years and I don't like iOS and I don't want my desktop OS restricted and dumbed-down.

Yeah, Android lacks the originality that "iPhone" has and the specificity that comes from the name "iPod".

Whenever I hear of vajazzling I'll forever think of Richard Hammond thinking its a bejewelled wand during the forensic car inspection on Top Gear :D

The thing is that the only two components of BMI and height and weight; your height will stay constant so the only thing changing that number is your weight. Therefore, its no different than tracking your weight.

It looks cool but I'm rather unimpressed. I'm of the opinion that how you feel and how your clothes fit is a better sign; I think that using BMI (which is, at best, a weak metric) and constantly weighing yourself could potentially just lead to anxiety.

I think its a shame that WM gets so little publicity...everyone I know who has actually tried it really likes it (that said, I'm an Android user) yet it never gets any publicity in the mainstream media (whereas iOS products get talked about constantly on CNN and others) and no one tries it out in cell phone stores.

Will that $50 actually be enough to make you say "holy crap" and make you change which phone you purchase? Yes, its a $50 savings, but I don't think its enough to make anyone change their mind about what they're getting. If someone wants a Gnex or iPhone4s and they are $150 (the Gnex is actually 99 here in Canada, not

I can't help but look at the vinyl and think of these shoes.

The white cheddar coating could be made of 1 parts plastic 2 parts cyanide and I'd still eat buckets of this stuff. That said, I always manage to have those little husks poke and get lodged in my gums...

A still would make for a very sweet desktop and the moving version would be an awesome Android live wallpaper.

The problem is that if you want another steak, you have to shell out about $700.

Unfortunately, go to a cell phone store and you'll see scores of people who actually believe that.

"Who would've ever thought that a well designed device at a great price would appeal to consumers!"

To me, the price on a contract is nearly irrelevant; it means you can't easily switch to another phone (without selling it and taking a rather decent hit) and if you lose it you have to fork out the actual price. Anyone who buys a $49 phone instead of a $99 phone or a $99 phone instead of a $149 phone on a contract
