Apple releases a new phone every 12-15 months; if they were dying to make them in the US but couldn't find the talent, surely they could just start searching in between iterations?

With a name like "Vellfire", I was expecting a sportbike or something that looks like its about to kick someone in the face. Not a minivan.

A lot of workplaces tolerate browsing the web on breaks, but very few large companies would be happy with seeing a nipple. I've seen people get spoken to by HR for merely having a shopping bag with a "seductive" photo of a woman on it (I think it was American Apparel or something).

There are lots of workplaces/schools/public areas at home where its cool to kill time but if something comes up that is considered "offensive", you're in deep shit.

Get that sarcasm outta here. If they didn't want to be copied, all they had to do was donate a few million to various politicians.

The material might be rather static (although over here there's the IFRS/GAAP convergence...) but tax changes yearly & for a lot of accounting programs over here (Canada), the learning is based on taking up assigned homework and problems, which change with every edition. Not doing those problems is a huge disadvantage.

Tax courses are the most likely choice....they cost a LOT and have to be revised yearly.

This doesn't yet work for universities, and I assume those books will command a higher price.

It makes sense to target high schools; I have doubt about how well this will work with college/universities since a lot of them make frivolous changes to textbooks to justify costly new revisions. For programs where the material is the same, it doesn't matter, but for programs where there is a need to do assigned…
