Thing is a game of kickball is not going to teach good fitness habits. You stand around for most of the game.

We have a childhood obesity problem. The solution is not requiring kids in school to get maybe 300 steps in a kickball game for 42 minutes.

The problem with (at least in my day) PE classes is that they aren’t inclusive. When you rotate between kickball, basketball, and volleyball and spend half the class picking teams, it gets boring really fast. Especially to the kids who are not good at team sports and are always picked last. Gym ceased being fun after

I would say bullying is worse in small schools.  No escape route or another group of friends to join.  And it is more permanent (ie elementary school bullying carries on to high school).

Also what kind of exercise do you get when you spend half the class choosing teams (which inevitably turns into a popularity contest)?

Also look up the Duggar family circa 2004.

I usually don’t go out. I’d rather save the money.

New York is also the “City that never pees.”  Unfortunately people see an elevator and use it as a toilet.  Disgusting how human beings can do this.  Maybe also when upgrading the subway stations, add bathrooms.

Self tanner.

Trader Joe’s Antioxidant serum. $10. Worth it’s weight in gold.

That’s restaurant policy, not server policy.  Stiffing them for something beyond their control is just rude, and will cost them money for the privilege of waiting on you.  Oh yeah, and they’ll pay income taxes on the lost tips too.

Maybe the kid is with Dad or Grandma.  You don’t know.

I don’t know about you but I was raised to never order more than what you can afford at a restaurant. If I didn’t have the money to order cocktails, then I order the free water or $2 soda.

I’m looking to move cross country in about 2-3 years and I’m starting to purge now.  Goodwill will be getting the bulk of my stuff.

Al Franken stabbed himself in the back. He should have kept his hands to himself.

I stopped eating meat for health reasons.  Eating a real steak sounds delicious, but I’d rather not deal with the next 24 hours.  Bring on the fake steak.

A good public library is also worth supporting, and it is free (unless things are overdue).  I get my books from the library unless I need them as a reference.

H&M does this too.

Also your town (or nearby) might have a Little Free Library.  I give my books away there.

Think of the utility of the item.  My toothbrush doesn’t give me joy, but clean teeth do.
