Mallory! Nice to see you pop up! Yup. Place of honor. Thanks again to you and your crew for the great weekend. Don't think I'll ever forget it.
I'm digging the weasel quandary. My guess, it would find the kidnapping dangly thing very quickly. As to the boost, I am actually deadly curious to tackle that. Stock should be... 14 or 15? I wonder how close to the edge they have it at this level.
I hear they toast Pre-cats like cows make milk, yes. Usually due to rich conditions or bad coils. It's tough. If I were to buy a Mazda6 it would have to be a wagon to earn my dragon. And the community of six enthusiasts is pretty wicked, not a lot of ego to be had, mostly engineers in the forums ;)
Bigtime. I actually come from the world of underdog turbos. Chrysler 2.2's. Nissan 2.0's, and the venerable rb20/25's. I have always wanted a SAAB. Always. Unfortunately most in these parts are living on borrowed time or borrowed money. Fixing either loan takes more money :P What have you done to the Saab? …
Have I seen your SCCA autocross on youtube before? There aren't many 6's out there playing that game.
I support this suggestion.
I think so. If only because it's easier to produce power and efficiency in lockstep with eachother than it is to go back to the malaise era of low numbers and shoddy production. The manufacturers love to market to aspiration. Everyone loves to own something fast, even if they won't use it at 9/10. I think it…
I'm going to go out on a leaf here and tell you with some pretty candid honesty that we were flown out without knowing what was going on, and didn't really know what was up until they let us out of the pen. We weren't coached and whatever we gave was honest. I did get some cool stickers though. That was pretty…
:D
Luckier than I know. I haven't watched it yet. Kinda freaked out, not a big camera person :P Tanner was the best wheelman I have experienced, and did a great job tossing us around. I think he might have been fairly frustrated by the degree in which he had to work to break the fusion loose. Otherwise, he's pretty…
I actually came down from Edmonton Alberta. The Frozen North. Anything is possible!
I'll jump in on Rob with this one. The car was very neutral, all considered. It had a pretty gradual loss of control that tend to a bit of engineered in understeer. I was pleasantly surprised. For a heavy car it was fairly nimble.
;) Couldn't miss it.
Hey Folks, Clayton here, sorry for the late arrival. Canadian time. If you have any questions, let them fly.
That's wild! Now, within the context of the 80's, it gets really scary upon consideration that somehow the bloody dodge omni managed to pass the tests and the Stanza didn't :/
As the driver of a Geo metro, I can't say too much about structural safety, but, that Stanza does not look substantial enough to handle more than a shopping cart without serious ramifications to the occupants.
