Thanks for posting that! I've been thinking about allowing myself a bottle of Coffeemate for the holidays as a treat. Normally I pour a bit of 2% milk in my coffee. But I was resisting because I don't want to add that sugar back into my morning routine. This is a much better idea!

Maybe the story was edited but when I read the above essay the last points were all about resetting one's diet with basic foods, fasting and the importance of nutrition for a good life. It doesn't come across as if this article is about taking pills.

What about Ballpeen?

sounds legit to me

Does anyone call them phosphates anymore? My great aunt used to call them that. She was from Illinois but lived in Missouri a bit, too.

You know, I was thinking about how being accused of rape is supposedly so terrible with the Mr. Cosby news and the university rape scandals. But you never hear people accused of murder complaining about what an injustice it was to be arrested or go to trial.

It has been partisan for quite a while. You look at statements like Texas gubernatorial (haha, GOOBER!) runner Clayton Williams in 1990 telling women to "lie back and enjoy it" if they found themselves raped and the more recent Todd Akin's whole legitimate rape fiasco. I'll give you one guess about their political

In the 80s this would have been called Blush Rose.

I guess it really was better in the old days! Before cell phones, you could give a fake number and know you'd be safe at home by the time he tested it on his landline.

don't forget nearly-nude!

I don't see how a customer base suggesting a retailer notice a particular stock item is contrary to a liberal, open society. A store has the right to create and maintain an image. Target especially caters to that traditional idea of a family. They don't sell dildos, sex videos or bondage gear, either.

I thought the episode where Tracy is targeted by the Black Crusaders was prescient, too. The plot was that Bill Cosby hates Tracy and is in the group of powerful African-Americans who are trying to tamp down on his career. Thought it was funny that they juxtaposed a scary, evil mastermind version of Bill Cosby

Susie Lau looks fab!

Yeah, I agree with that too. I think it's ridiculous to give people help and then deride them for their choices. I was just offering the idea that looks can often be deceiving. It's dumb to judge people on their actions because we don't always have the full story.

I can't tell you how many of my friends have to come to me with that very problem. Guys propose marriage but when they do the cost-benefit analysis on their teal iMac the results say NO to marriage. So many of my friends are still single and living the $35K millionaire lifestyle because Mr. Computer told them

a thousand times this

And sometimes they're just getting a lobster or steak that has been "manager discounted" because it's out of date or wasn't sold. I try to look in the bargain bins at the supermarket. That stuff is usually at least half off.

oh sure, the Twinkie defense

My mom married in 1965 in a cream silk shift dress that hit above the knee.
