Shows with a weird premise or ensemble cast are pretty much doomed. It takes a while for the cast and crew to get a handle on a show like Powerless or Ghosted, and networks will cancel them just as they’re beginning to hit their stride.

The Dark Knight really wasn’t a great movie at all. It was an OK movie with one amazing performance (Ledger) and one very good performance (Eckhart). Take those performances out of the equation and you’re left with a pretty middling Batman movie.

Have you tried ordering online?  It's a game-changer.  I can add onions and jalapenos to everything, remove anything I don't want, pay ahead of time to avoid more than the most cursory interaction of them handing me the bag at the drive-thru.

For a while, when hearing people nitpicking about gluten in restaurants, I would make sure to ask my server for extra gluten when I ordered. It usually took them a moment, but most of the servers seemed amused.
